Any OCTOBER guests received FP+ testing invite?

You need to go to beourguestlunch.go.disney.com and login using your reservation ID. There is a 30 page thread on the dining board with lots of helpful tips!

I noticed this popped up as well on the regular Dining Reservation page.

I guess it just re-routes you to that website.
 
Got on MDE page this morning and a pop-up appears : MB and FP+ invitation!!! I was so happy and excited. But once I click on manage my Magic Bands, nothing :worried: ...

Same when we try to do FP+, it says that it's not available...

Anyone has a clue on what that might be?

All solved : we are now able to order and customize our magic bands!!! We have all the different colors. So glad we'll get to experience the bands.

Now, we'll look for FP+!
 
I'm @ the Poly Oct 24 - Nov 2 and have been checking MDE every single day for months now just to see if/when anything changes. Just today got the option to customize & order our Magic Bands! YAY! It also maybe looks like I'll be able to select fast passes soon, I'm getting what looks like the right screen now but it gives me an error saying my dates aren't eligible. Tomorrow is our 60 day mark so I'm super excited to see what happens then!!

I haven't done online check-in because I want to see if I can get my room request when we check-in at the resort.
But today when I went into the MB part of the website it gave me the option to "personalize".
But thanks for the suggestion.

When I logged into our MDE account this morning I was able to customize our MBs and make FastPass+ selections. :banana: We are staying at the Polynesian Oct 19-25.

We have until September 18 to customize our MBs but I'm so excited to do it right away. My DH is at a conference for work so I texted him a screenshot of the colors and told him to pick (he went with green). Then I had to go wake my very sleepy 16 yo DD and get her pick (pink, of course). I'm going with orange.

I had fun picking the FastPass+ times --- so excited to try everything out during our trip!

Now to try and get a BoG FP+ for lunch when the October dates open .....
 
Have chosen our FP+ and customized our MBs.

We're a party of 5 staying at the Beach Club from 4th to 14th Oct.

We're from the UK so curious as to whether our MBs are shipped or will be at the BC on check-in.

We redid the online check-in to enable the 'personalise MB' option to appear.

Still on the lookout for BOG lunch ressies and Wishes too.

So jelly!!! LOL We are staying in October at VWL, so I guess not part of the testing group. Hopefully by December we'll get to test. We're at BLT then.
 
Has anyone had an issue with making Fastpass+ selections? I push the make selection button and I get this everytime...It doesn't even give me an opportunity to select dates

The selected date must be within at least one party member's FastPass+ selection window.

I finally called IT and she told me that I did not have tickets loaded onto my account, so I could not make choices. I think its because I booked through rundisney. I'm on hold now, they are trying to fix it.
 
Just wanted to say that I am an AP holder and have been able to pick FP+ for all 14 days of our trip. We are doing 3 split stays BC, Pop, the POFQ. I have already customized and ordered the BC's MB's. Now, the Pop ressie of the trip on MDE is telling me to customize MB's again. Sooooo, I guess I will but in different colors. Still confused how all this is gonna turn out though!!! The FQ stay is our last stay, so I am assuming we will still wear the MB's for our FP+ selections. And will our FP+ selections be loaded on both sets of MB's???? Someone please help me understand all of this!
 
We're staying October 4-9 at BC, wondering if my mom has logged on yet to see if we have any FP+ options? Other issue is my ticket is so old - it was a hopper ticket from 2008. I tried downloading the My Experience app and entering the info there but the app kept crashing. Not sure how to do it any other way besides calling them directly...:confused:
 
We changed the first night of our stay to POR so we can try out the MB and FP+. As soon as I made the reservation I was able to select everything for our entire stay. We are moving to the BWI for 6 nights under 2 different reservation numbers after the one night at POR. We have AP vouchers linked so I am assuming that is why we could make the FP+ for the entire time.

I hope we have no issues. This way ended up saving us $100 and we get to try out the new technology.

It looked like it was allowing me to choose FP's. But, when I clicked next it would give an error. Anyway, guy in IT (who really had his info down it would seem) told me it was because we are just a little too far out still...65 days. So, he then told me we are scheduled to get an email next weds (28th) to invite us for testing. At that point, he said we should be able to book. He gave me a ton of information that I found very useful and this sounds even better than I had hoped! Anyway, he also said that the testing is scheduled thru Oct. 31 with a plan to be live Nov. 1. He said that we will get the KTTW cards still to cover dining as not all restaurants will have the tap and go. So, as testers, we will be able to pull passes with those in park also. He said that if it is live November 1, that will be the end of the in-park fp's if you have the fp+. But, since we are checking in prior to that date, we will be able to pull our whole vacation. So, a little heads up for those checking in around that date. Of course, this can all change from now til then. But, that is the projection for now. Also, for TS restaurants using the system, you will basically hand over your credits before you go in...at the podium. I was not sure if the servers had mobile ones...like the iphone credit card readers type thing. But, they will handle it before you are even seated. Also, it was probably already mentioned, but it will also include your Magical Express ticket (in case anyone was unaware). That is important to know before leaving. Photopass and photopass+ will be on it. And, each thing can be added as you purchase it. Our bands will be here next week and each thing will just be added as I buy them...even though the bands will be in our home. Pretty neat. I guess it all makes sense, but I never really put it all together until speaking to this cm...he was great! He had lots of tips and suggestions and info. Hope this helps someone!

Thanks for sharing this information. I really do not want to test out this system if you can't pull the traditional FPs. I still need to talk to my DH to see if he wants to partake in the testing or just go old school with the paper fast passes.

Turns out because they are special convention tickets, they cant link them, we will get them at check in and attach them to our bands then. N
 
i haven't gotten an invite yet, but it's now all there in MDE for me to customize our bands and choose our days. yay!
 
Today was our 60 day mark. I logged on and am choosing my fast passes as we speak. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! BEST DAY EVER!!:cool1:

"IT" actually stands for Information Technology. (Although you're right - in most cases here it would refer to support for anything computer/website/technical related.)


My Disney travel is Sept 29 - Oct 4; and we're staying at Port Orleans Riverside. We have the ability to use magicbands and fastpass+ with no problem so far :goodvibes
