Just back from the Dr. and the mall.......I dont think it could rain any harder than it is right now! There were spots where I drove through 6-12 inches of water! (Is it bad when your battery light comes on after doing that? )


So Alan......I will have one of those drinks! You can make a margarita, can't you? If not....how about just some tequila, lemons and salt! LOL!

Okay, a quick serious post here:

I am one of the few people in Montgomery working and one of the fewer ones at my office.

Very few showed up and we are not doing anything. Those who did not come in (and we know they could have) are not going to be charged time, yet those who are here will not earn comp time or anything.

While I actually agree with that (it's just one of those things, so I can accept it), I did just tell one my employees who came in to go back home.

As I went home for lunch, I am having to cross major intersections with no traffic lights (Most are treating it as a 4 way stop..but not all do), dodge hanging power lines, and see tons of debris in the middle of road and on the sides.

Most everyone is in clean up mode and I'm going to really feel bad if the trucks come through to pick it up and I'm the only house on the street that isn't ready.

Mrs. AA has gone to her mother's and took our rakes to help her clean up the yard as best they can.

And here I sit being a "loyal" employee but not doing anything. I don't like knowing they are working while I am sitting here!!
