Geesh. I come back to find that my daughter, who's tuition I am paying, has "more free time than ever." HEY, ever hear of the library and studying??

I guess now I will really have to watch what I say because it will come back to haunt me. You have to admit though, my DD, the dork, is pretty cute. I guess she believes, at last, that my imaginary friends are real.

Amy came home with a note. 4 vocal music students from each middle school will represent their respective schools at the dedication of our new performing arts facility. She was chosen to be one of those students. So she'll be part of a group of 16 singers performing that night.

The downside is that the first practice is a week from this coming Sunday. Both my kids are heading to Broken Arrow for that weekend for our church Jr. High Youth Conference. Amy to attend and David as one of the leaders. Amy can go up in the church van, but I guess I'll have to drive David up early, early on Saturday morning because he has to march on Friday night. Now, I guess I have to drive up again to pick up Amy, since she'll need to head home early. Sounds like a busy weekend. And not even time to meet up with Star while I'm in the neighborhood!

Star, if it turns out I'll have any extra time on Saturday morning before I have to head home I'll let you know. Allen is doing a campout with the Scouts that weekend, so I'll have to hurry back to put the dogs out. We are doing a Survivor pool at work. Nine of us pitched in $5 each and drew two names. The last person standing gets all of the money. I have Scout (a 59 year old woman - I don't feel too confident about her! ) and John K. I don't know anything about him.
