I just went out in the backyard and discoved a few planks had been knocked off our privacy fence. Sasha was hanging through the opening. She has no street sense, so I'm not happy. We've had no foul weather, so I'm pretty sure it was the party last night. Grrrr. Luckily I saw her and called her back before she took off. Allen's out there now replacing the parts that are down.

The church service was nice. Very much like ones the kids have at our summer camp. Camp music, candles, sitting in a circle . . . I think we'll go again.

We had Hideaway Pizza for supper after we left the kids at church. Yummy. It's wonderful. The kids will be so jealous. It's on campus corner and it sure smelled bad out on the sidewalks. I kept getting whiffs of sour beer from last night's game. Whew! They need to hose down the area after the crowds go home.

Newsflash. Allen just found out that mom and dad next door went camping and left the kids home alone. Not a smart move, if you ask me. Hence the party. And the police did come out when things got out of control towards morning. We understand beer cans and bottles were all over the neighborhood. How did I sleep through that? The neighbor behind said he's sure that that's how our fence got knocked down. They were in all the backyards in the area. Bet my dog Buddy gave them a scare. He's a "spow", half spaniel and half chow. He's fairly big and black with a black tongue. He's really a pussycat, but he barks like a doberman. Hope they wet their pants.

Ughh!! Such bad timing to be sick!! I have 2 weeks of training for my new job so I can't afford to be sick right now!!

MP - I hope Buddy scared them too!

MP How old were the neighbours kids? Where they old enough(maybe not mature enough) to be left alone for the weekend.

Mike, I think the oldest is a senior in high school. Then there is one maybe a year younger and a little one that is maybe 9 or 10. I'm guessing all three were home with the oldest ones in charge of the little guy. Mom and dad are home again. Bet that house is a mess! And I bet some teenagers are in big trouble. I hope so. Personally, I think leaving teens home alone is an accident waiting to happen, although I know it depends on the kids.

For those of you following the Norman High vs. Norman North clash of a week ago, it cost OU over $2000 to clean up the paint in the stadium before the first game. Still no word on if the school is going to have to come up with the money. I'd make the school perform community service at the university. That'd teach them a lesson they'd not soon forget. Norman High's student council and band have offered letters of apology to North for the mob scene following the game and for the student body turning their backs on our band as they performed. An editorial in today's paper said that winning isn't all that it's about, it's how you play the game. In that respect, North beat the pants off of Norman High.

Tell Dylan to feel better soon! I dislike changing seasons for the reason that when temperatures start to fluctuate and people seem to get sick.

thanks Lars, just driving to Boston Airport is an adventure. Getting there is OK, but coming back is always a treat, the first time I went down there it was one way to go, all around and about turns and into the city and back. The second time all that was gone, along with the signs, so we went the wrong way. Wonder what will happen this time? If I don't report in by 10am, I must be lost! At least he is taking the shuttle home won Wednesday night. And then Thursday back out of the local airport.
