Forgot to say that E is welcome to hide the ladder in our garage. It's a long way, but it's the perfect hiding place, and we could have a mini meet. ;)

LOL Missy, love that idea there!!! I did put it in the basement in a room he never goes into. Fortunately I only have to "hide" it until Monday :)
But next time, I will take you up on it. I think I know which bookmark you are talking about. If I am not lazy tomorrow, I can check our bookstores, but I don't think I've seen one in a very long time. Wonder if Half Priced books would have them... they seem "behind" on those kind of things.

We had to make a quick run to Wendy's... now looking at the results of all the games. I see that OU is doing great! Notre Dame won :hyper: Right now BC is beating PSU :(

Bethany, hope you get more hours at TDS!

Lorraine, that sounds like a great day! If your day was as nice as ours, I bet it was perfect for it :) I'm with you on tomorrow... not doing a thing either :teeth:

Thanks E, but Amy found one on Ebay. We did buy it now and it'll be on it's way next week. Now we just have to find an Arwen necklace for Halloween. They have them on Ebay, too. This kid's attention to detail is a pain in the pocketbook. She says she can't be Arwen without the neclace. At least we found an inexpensive costume that will work. Sigh.

Hey Lou~You're close to NYC........maybe your littlest princess: would like to go to this

Missy, which necklace does she want? If she is going for the Evenstar, then I would tell her that per the movie, Arwen wouldn't have it or be wearing it anyway since Aragorn had it with him.... and if she is going by the book... well she wouldn't exist much ;)

I do happen to own an Evenstar inspired necklace... I admit, I truly love it :) Glad you found the bookmark though!

Counting you and LK or in addition to you and LK?

Slacker.... :p

Thanks Lars but that is a Tuesday. Don't know why they would do something like that on a Tuesday unless it is one of those odd school holidays. I'll have to check.

That didn't work. My DD is too smart for her own good. She says Arwen had it before she gave it to Aragorn. So she wants to be Arwen BEFORE she gave it to him. At least she's not asking for the sterling silver ones that cost a bunch.

The game is over, so my crew will be heading home soon. Amy is making a macrame choker. She's been very busy.

I'm going to scan some more of my dad's army photos. I'm working my way through his old photos so that I can burn a cd for Mom and my brother for Christmas. I'm also going to show the army ones to an old army buddy of his to see if he can identify anyone/anything. Journaling his army and navy albums are going to be a challenge without his input.

I opened the refrigerator earlier to feed the dogs and hurt my toe. I guess I had my big toe curled up and I broke the toenail. It's all bloody and sore. Just call me Grace again!

So I take it Amy is not a fan of Viggo... if she were, she'd want to make sure he had it ;) I understand her point though... I would probably want it if I were dressing up as Arwen, but since I wasn't too terribly keen on her, it is doubtful I'd ever do that :p I know what you mean about the SS ones... they run about $95!!!! My Evenstar inspired necklace was not cheap either, but I do love it.

Just looked at the weather for tomorrow... supposed to be in the 80s and sunny... so I know that for sure, after church I will be on my deck with my laptop and reading "The Silmarillion" ::yes::

My sweetie has a headache... I think I'll be nice and give him a good massage to make him feel better :)

I'm home.

UD won and Band Day was great.

Maryland won too.

My feet are tired and I am waiting for a call from Sarah after she gets some dinner, then going to bed. Jack is out picking up Andrew from the bus back from the game. These late nights are going to be the end of me.

Greetings from the Disney Wonder!!

I'd like to thank ya'll for the P&PD it must have hit us hard!!

We have had a faboo time and OMG is all I can say about the wonderful weather!! I can't wait to get home and tell ya'll about it!!

boomer sooner MP saw the score WOW

ok I am going to go get my luggage out, see you tomorrow night!!

mwahs straight from Mickey & Minnie!!

Carol, hope you get to sleep in a little tomorrow! Glad both teams won :)

:wave2: Hi Star!!! So nice to see you check in! Glad you are enjoying yourselves!!!

I "put Luis to sleep" just a few minutes ago... now I have a cute cat cuddled up right next to me... something cute about watching loved ones sleep :)

E, when David was small he had a picture hanging over his bed that said, "Little boys are like angels, especially when they are asleep". :teeth: When he got older he decided he didn't want it anymore. I still agree with the sentiment - for my whole family.

Off to beddy bye. I'm sleepy.

Morning Angels....seems that everyone is sleeping in this morning. One of my little cherubs has HIS bedroom clock set for 5 AM today..GRRRR....oh well, a good start to the day.

Spent 3 hours at soccer yesterday morning...AJ's first game b/c of his cast. Even though the coaches, the league, and the president of the league said AJ could play with the short cast....the ref (some 16 year old girl) wouldn't let him play in a cast.......I can understand him sitting on the bench since he hasn't played all year, but if you tell us he CAN play....Let him play....grrrrr! A total waste of our morning, if you ask me!

Hoping to keep DH motivated to paint the breezeway today, then we'll install the wood stove next weekend!!!! I just love a wood fire in the fall and winter.

Stayed up waaaaaay too late to watch the last race of the "regular" season. The race for the cup begins here in Loudon next weekend...........unfortunately.........also looks like the remnants of Ivan will be coming to town too.......nothing worse than a rainy race weekend! **please note: my complaint is totally idle ranting....not to trivialize the devastation those in the south are suffering from these hurricanes**

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Morning! :D

Sorry about soccer Steph. :( I completely understand about the ref issue, we've run into some dictator-teenagers at our league too.

Happy to hear from you Star and so happy your trip was wonderful.

EB's game is not until 4:15 and Lew's not joining us because he's in a golf tournament today. The kids & I are picking up my mom to come to the game and go for dinner later.
Today is her <font size=3 color=navy font face="Comic Sans MS">82nd Birthday!!!!!!!

:cake: :cake: :thewave: :cake: :cake:

Good morning all... been lazy and playing with the cats in bed :)

Missy, I admit, I sooooo agree with that comment... especially as they get older ;)

Steph, sorry that they didn't let AJ play after all... stupid ref!

Gail, a very Happy Birthday to your Mom!!! I hope that you all have a great day with her and good luck to EB with her game.

Nothing terribly exciting here... church, then lunch I am sure... afterwards maybe some light cleaning around the house. Otherwise lazy day for me :)

It is amazing to me that EVERY Sunday my DH gets the HUGE electric griddle down from it's perch attop my cabinets, proceeds to make himself a HUGE breakfast...and then leave the mess in the kitchen for me to clean up.....

that just annoys the crap out of me.

Good Morning Angels & Cherubs:wave:

I am all alone in my house this morning:D Dylan had a sleepover at his friend's house, MEg stayed the night at SIL's & BIL picked up DH & Matthew to go for a bike ride (they're into trail riding) at 8:30.......I'm ALONE:teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

Steph~I hope AJ wasn't too diappointed about the soccer game.

Star~Glad to hear that you're having a good time & that the weather is beautiful!!

Gail~:cake: Happy 82nd to your Mom :cake:

Lou~Tough dilemma huh;)..........School vs Disney.................Disney vs School.........Teacher vs Cinderella.......Cinderella vs Teacher....

E!~Enjoy your relaxing day with your book. I hope that Luis is feeling better today.

"Little boys are like angels, especially when they are asleep"
I agree with you Missy~this works for little boys, little girls, big boys, big girls etc.....:D

Carol~I'm glad your teams won
