Love you Lou! She was considered an older mom at the time, she was 37 when I came along, and many times was asked if I was her granddaughter!

I can't picture Andrew arrogant and rude as some of these kids can be.

Good to hear from Star. We were hoping that the weather wouldn't be bad for our fellow Okies. Amy worried about it all last week! But then you're bound to have fun on Disney's ships. Did you see Disney Dreams? It's my favorite.

Lars enjoy your alone time. I know I look forward to some me time once in a while!

We went to church this morning. We had sign ups for Sunday School and a ministry fair. Then the kids all ate ice cream. (A little early for that, but they didn't seem to care!) Sunday School begins next weekend, as do David's confirmation classes.

We went out for a quick lunch and now David and Allen are at board of reviews for Scouts. We have several boys advancing.

Tonight the kids start back to youth group at 5:00, so I guess Allen and I are on our own for dinner. We were going to grill burgers, but that seems a shame when there are only two of us. We may go out. I have my fingers crossed. That'd mean no cooking today for me! It all depends on if Allen is too tired. He and David are saying they are just wiped out.

The teenagers next door had a wild party last night. They were in the backyard at midnight in bathing suits screaming. My dogs are such weenies that they were afraid to go to the bathroom. Sasha barked at them but Holly just hid under the desk and wouldn't go out. This morning our neighbor said that the police came out around 5:00. I guess it went on all night? I'm nosey, wish I had more on the story.

Well, guess I should be productive. I need to empty the dishwasher and reload it with the breakfast dishes and other stuff like that. TTFN

Lazy day for me. I've got a sinus thing going and feel yucky!! I thought it was allergies at first but now I'm thinking sinus infection I thought maybe coming to DIS would help a little I will have to catch up later though because with the medicines I took I'm sleepy. I think I will go take a nap. I'm trying to rest and drink plenty of water. Later

Im with you Carolyn. Yesterday afternoon my nose started running, I now have a miserable cold.
Ive been dozing on and off all day and I am still in my pj's
Lou took Sam to Chuck E Cheese for a while, and now they are in the bedroom watching football.

We're going to the evening church service, I think. We've never gone to the new contemporary service at our church and I'd like to try it out. Then DH and I are going to get a bite to eat.

Evening Everyone!
Well, the breezeway painting is done....no...strike that....the trim is all painted, and the solid green wall is done, I still have 3 walls to paint off white...but they are mostly windows and doors, so that won't take long tomorrow.

It's frustrating to get started on a project and by the halfway point have everyone who wanted to help so badly abandon the premises...

White chili and nachos for dinner tonight...what's everyone else having???

We spent the day at the lake out on the pontoon.......Dylan's friend came along with us & he got to go tubing for the first time ever We all had a great time & now we're tired

We stopped & picked up a couple of pizzas for dinner.........when we're done eating I'll run Dylan's friend home & stop at the market for some lunch things for the week
