Cindy - glad to hear Walker is doing well. Sounds like you made the right decision. Here's hoping he gets better fast!

Cindy....I was hoping you would have posted by now. I've been thinking about Walker off and on all day. Good to hear that he's doing so well. Enjoy your mom and Walker time together!

We are home. :thumbsup2

Surgery went well and the doctor said the adenoids were huge so I think we made the right decision to have them removed.

I know the hardest part is over and the toughest thing is going to be to keep Walker down for the next couple of days. I have my ropes all ready to tie him to the couch if need be.

Thanks for all the well wishes.....back to watching TV with Walker.

I'm so glad they were able to do the surgery!
Now it is done and over!
P&P that he is his old self soon!

Hi! Just catching up after the long weekend. Let's see if I caught all the significant happenings.

Mark, Mary, Cheryl and Todd - congrats on getting the 2007 Member Cruise. We won't be doing it next year, since with all the Jewish holidays falling out on a weekday and our vacation already planned in May, Judy doesn't have the vacation days to spare.

Chris - glad everything went well with Walker.

Nice to hear everyone had good times down in WDW. Hope last week's cold snap didn't affect any of you.

I had a crazy four days. I flew 4 days in a row, including today. My flight to LAX was uneventful. Got upgraded to first class on the outbound flight, which was a nice surprise. Got to the hotel at 8:30 and went to bed at 10:00, keeping an east coast schedule. Up at 4:45am for a 7:00am flight. It was a pretty full flight. the middle seat in my row was empty and then the guy on th ewindow gets upgraded to first, so I have the whole row to myself. Now, you woulod think that someone stuck in a middle seat, would move into the row, but noooo. So, I had the whole row to myself the whole flight. Sweet.

Judy is free of me for 11 days, since I'm going to visit my mom this weekend. I hope she reads this, because just think, she could've joined me if only she flew :lmao:

Cindy - I sure hope that Walker is feeling better soon and you don't have to delay his surgery - no more stress for you!

Karen - we're thinking about coming down for spring training - I think I mentioned that to you - have to get to planning.
What is ESPN weekend - is it a member event? I'm not the sports nut in the family - can you tell?

It was great to see a few familiar faces again tonite before I came back to the room. I stopped by GF after running around to meets today and dinner so Chris (sanddune) - I picked up the item you wanted! It will arrive home safe and sound.

This time of December is a great time to come down to WDW - there's lots of DISers and events going on!

Nite all - need to start planning on what I will do tomorrow.
Thanks You!!! The kids are going to be so surprised!

Cindy,
So glad that Walker is home and free of those enlarged tonsils. Walker you'll probably get to have some ice cream for breakfast! :thumbsup2 Here's to a speedy recovery!

Cindy - I sure hope Walker is feeling much better and soon so his mom and dad can get some rest too!

Cindy, I'm so glad to hear that Walker had his surgery and is on the road to recovery. I hope he is feeling better today.

Glad to hear things went well with Walker's surgery. Hope he feels better soon.

Feel better Walker. It's good to hear the surgury went well.

Mary & Mark, your WDW trip sure did go by quickly. I enjoyed reading each day what y'all had done, kind of like living vicariously. ;) I'd love to make another trip during holiday season, but with David's work schedule there's no way.

Wow Sandy, that's a crazy flying schedule. Have a good time visiting with your mother.

I've been so busy lately I can hardly remember what day of the week it is. In fact last week I missed the Parent Association meeting because I thought it was Monday when I dropped Ian off at school even though it was Wednesday. :faint:

Ian had his birthday party Sunday, at Little Gym, which was a great success. I think in all there were 22 kids there, ranging in age from 1 to 11 years old. (And that doesn't include the 6week old baby.

) Ian had a great time, well until he saw his grandmother leaving. She'd parked right in front of the window where the kids were eating cake. When she looked back and saw him crying she came back in.

I just loved having the party somewhere besides our house. I didn't stress about cleaning before, wondering if anything would get broken, or have to clean afterwards. The staff at Little Gym took care of everything - setup, activities, cutting the cake and serving it, AND cleanup! I told David
that we may just have Ian's party there again next year, it was so easy.

Here are a few pics from Ian's party...

Ian got to sit on the parachute while everyone walked around and sang Happy Birthday. Then we raised and lowered him a few times - a big hit with Ian!

Running and jumping across the airtrack. I think all the kids loved this.

Singing Happy Birthday again. Ian doesn't know to blow out the candles so I told the kids around him to help.

Robin, it looks like the kids had a great time. We have never had a birthday party at home for our kids, it's more expensive to do them out, but the peace of mind is worth it to me.

:bday: :cake: Happy Belated Birthday, Ian!!! :cake: :bday:

:bday: :cake: Happy Belated Birthday, Ian!!! :cake: :bday:
Yup ::yes:: peace of mind, and keeping it, is definitely worth the little extra.

(And not belated, my baby officially turned 2 at 11:29 this morning.)

:cheer2: Happy 2nd Birthday Ian!!!:cheer2:
Robin, the birthday party looked like a HUGE success!!! It's funny because we've had the girls parties always at home, and I think that I've set a tradition now with Emily because she talks about what her next birthday will be. But, I have to say that after the Princess Tea Party, money-wise, I would probably be better off having it somewhere else. My excuse is that it makes me clean my house really well before the party.
