Good Question... I am curious too...chipscinderelly said:Ok so I'm curious - has the 2007 Member Cruise sold out yet? I know it did not on Saturday and I went to the website briefly today to check to see if there were updaets and it's the same stuff - or atleast what I noticed.

Boy, I'm really behind. Hanukkah starts on Friday night and I haven't really shopped for anything for anyone. I guess I'd better get my act together quickly if I want my nieces and nephew down in S.A. to have something by the end of Hanukkah (Friday 12/22). I'm thinking gift cards would make wonderful presents at this point - easy to buy, easy to wrap, easy to send.Stitch#1 said:gift wrapping and last stop at the post office for those gifts that need to go to distant relatives!

I like to give gift cards to the teachers/bus driver as well. This year, I headed up to our mall Saturday night to pick them up. Good thing the mall wasn't crowded as when I went to the customer service desk, they would have had no problem taking my money but they now tack on a $2.50 PER CARD service charge.
Since I needed several, I walked away with none. There was no way I was paying a service fee for cash. I'll stick the $25 in an envelope before I pay extra to have a little plastic card. So, I walked out of the mall and drove over to Barnes & Noble to buy them there. I figure teachers should like to read and hopefully they can find something they like. I always did the mall in the past, because it offered a vast majority of retailers, but those days are over as long as they are adding a service charge.![]()
Ooh, I'm glad you mentioned this. I'm in charge of getting the class Hanukkah gifts for Ian's teachers and I was planning on Galleria Gold. I think it's just wrong for them to charge extra like that and will definitely walk away, too, if necessary. Yup, Barnes and Noble may be getting our business for the teachers too. Thanks for the heads-up.cgcw said:I like to give gift cards to the teachers/bus driver as well. This year, I headed up to our mall Saturday night to pick them up. I might head over to my brother's house for a day or so since I am having a hard time wanting to make that ride back to Michigan again - sure hope the weather is nice when I get there!
Chris - I'll call you when I'm in the area and drop off your package unless you don't want it when the boys are home.
Heading out to DD for one last trip thru the stores - haven't been over there much this trip. Will check in when I get home.
