I miss chat again tonight.

Today one of my little daycare boys flew the coop so to speak. I've taken care of him since he was 10 weeks old and he just turned 5 last month. It was really tough to have him leave, even though I know we'll still see him and his family. The little boys Mom cried all the way to my house, then we both cried. Just as we calmed down, the little boy laid down on my floor and sobbed "I don't want to leave Cindy's". OMG, talk about breaking our hearts. I picked him up off the floor and carried him out to his mom's van. I turned to walk away and he was still sobbing "I don't want to leave". It sure was a rough day. Our families are going out to dinner tomorrow night so I'm sure there are going to be even more tears. Sometimes it's so tough to let little ones grow up. I know he's going to have a really tough time adjusting to his new daycare situation. I also know Walker is going to miss his "little brother" as they know no different than to be together.

We went out to dinner and then Cameron & I did a major grocery shopping run. We didn't get back until about 9:30 and then still had all the groceries to put away. I'm just now thinking about chat.

Hopefully on Sunday night I'll be there.

Mary - I also like the new design of the shirt, especially since it appears we aren't breaking any copyright laws! Today is going to be a busy day. Have a lot of errands to run and plan to stop at Barnes and Noble to purchase the new WW cookbook. It came out in February. Has anyone else picked it up?

Workin the bulance today. I worked 8 hours at the FD yesterday. I know that times change and so do the ways of the world. But yesterday was the 62nd day of the year. And when I finished the sixth call of the day we were only 80 calls short of what we did for the entire year my first year on the department. We have gotten busier every year but one since I have been on.

Of course that will be 25 years ago in Jan.

Mary - So glad to hear that little bundle of joy is coming home. Give a nice snuggle and peck on the forehead for me. I love little babies and the way they smell like the baby powder. I could sit and snuggle them all day long.
