I HAVE A QUESTION:rotfl2: OUR DAUGHTER IS 24 WHEN DO THEY COME OUT OF THIS I WANT TO ARGUE AND GIVE DAD GREY HAIR PHASE:scared1:

Dear Ian...I am 41 and still have "discussions" :rotfl2: with my dad. I think it will stop when my dad just agrees that I am right. :rotfl::lmao:

GENERIC TRAVEL TIPS
1. Tie an identifying piece of ribbon or shoelace onto the handle/zipper. Even if you have an unusual color/patterned bag - it's amazing how often someone else will have the same one. The likelihood of them having the same bit of ribbon tied on is really small. It also makes your bag more quickly identifiable on the luggage carousels without the need to check address tags.

2. Take a photo of your luggage just before you leave for the airport. If it gets lost its a lot easier to fill in the lost luggage forms if you can refer to a picture to be able to give them the color, zipper color, tag color any identifying writing on the outside etc.

WAKE UP CALLS
1. Get a wake-up call! Mickey will personally call you to wake you up!

2. Use room service as your wake up call. Sometimes they will even call you 15-30 minutes before delivering your food.

MISCELLANEOUS TIPS THAT JUST DON’T FIT IN ANYWHERE ELSE
1. Take a "go with the flow" attitude.

2. Don’t try to do everything. Just pick one or two must dos a day. You can always do the rest on your next cruise.

3. Stop every once in a while and take it all in.

4. Pack half the clothes and twice the cash.

5. The blue anchors on the floor lead you forward and the red lead you aft. And red and aft both have 3 letters to help you remember!

6. Mid-ship elevators are slow due to the volume of people wanting to ride those elevators.

7. If someone really impresses, don't just tell them, tell their superiors, a guest compliment given at guest relations counts for a whole lot.

8. If you leave sunglasses in your room they might be placed on a towel animal!

9. Relax and enjoy your vacation! Don’t stress!

10. Bring your sense of humor.

11. Buy a couple of "dry boxes" from eBay or a dive shop. It can keep your KTTW cards, credit cards, cash (change too) and receipts safe and dry even on snorkeling and diving excursions. You can keep your cigarettes dry if you are a smoker. Disney sells these for about $7, but you can also get them from Ron Jon's in Cocoa Beach before your cruise or from other sources.

12. Get a Gift basket from the perfect gift - one that includes snacks, juice boxes, sand toys, sunscreen, champagne, beer, etc. so you don't have to pack all of that in your suitcase! http://theperfectgift.cc/

13. Bring a sense of adventure and prepare to have an amazing time.

IM BRINGING GREEN ANCHORS TO PUT ON FLOOR TO LEAD TO OUR CABIN WAY DOWN ON DECK ONE:rotfl2:

I have a technical question. I just discovered DISRADIO. Does anyone know how to get it from computer to ipod or some way of playing it somewhere else without using PC?

I just posted this on another thread and thought you folks might be interested. I know it's too late for this trip but might come in handy another time.;)

I get my paper from www.magnet4sale (CMS Magnetics, Inc.) They sell a lot of commercial magnetic products and you really have to search their website for "magnetic inkjet paper". The cost is $4.90 for 5 8.5 x 11 sheets. It comes in both Gloss (FPC10-A4-PP) and matte (FPC10-A4-IP) finishes.

They also have a sale page and that listed defective magnetic adhesive which is too thick (20 mil) for my printer but I just used rubber cement and glued the design to the magnet paper and cut them out. Works fine!:)and costs 30 cents a page. The size is 10 x 7.25 inches.

On their sale page they also had "Peel and stick Flexible Magnetic Photo Sheets with adhesive" at $.99 for a pack of 5 different sizes. I bought two. They have 5 x 7, 2 4 x 6 and 2 wallet size in the pack.

So I got 5 gloss sheets, 5 matte sheets, 20 defective sheets, and 2 packs of photo sheets and with shipping ($9.66) the cost was $27.44. I have enough sheets to last a lifetime. They came in a few days too.

Ian, it stops when they enter the unhuh phase when they just nod and ignore what you say but at least don't argue because it isn't worth arguing about.

Thanks, Marsha. I needed that. However, I am having trouble here. I can't find Mammaw's passport. It is not where it should be. PANIC!!!!! She is 104 and even with a best case scenario, I can't get another original birth certificate. I have papers from 1906 which are original but no seal. I'm going to have to call DCl. I can't figure out what happened to the passport unless she somehow got it and has it. That happened before. She wouldn't remember that she took it. So , I guess I'll have to go and search. Worse, how will I get her onto the plane?
Bill

Hey Marsha,,, Is it difficult to make your weekly post? I don't know about the others, but, I really watch for and enjoy it. Any chance you might consider doing a daily countdown? I don't want to impose. And definitely don't want to bother the others if it is trouble. Right now, I am going crazy looking for that "darn"(sic) passport. Who knows where it is. I am spastic.

CAN YOU TELL ME THE DISNEY SITE FOR BOOKING RESTAURANTS?:confused3

You can go on dvcmember or the disney world site. Must be something going on 10-11th. I booked dinner at san angel and captains grill at yacht. My favorites OHANA, LeCellier, Crystal palace, Coral Reef, Sci Fi, Garden Grill, are all booked for dinner on the 10th and 11th. Hopefully you have better luck. We always eat at Ohana and I am so disappointed.

I have a request. For those who have pictures of the ship and/or from previous member cruises, please post at least one each day before you leave. I love looking at all the pictures. Plus, it give me an idea of what pictures I need to take on this trip and what areas of the ship I need to explore. Thanks in advance.
