Your Favorite Thing To Do At Disney?

Where are these chairs?

That's so funny, I started to type the very same question!!! lol
WHAT MASSAGE CHAIR! I need them!
Sparkle on!

There is 3 or 4 of them in the shop after you ride space mountain, they are currently against the wall that also has other phone charging seating. (walk in and look a the wall near where people exit after the ride). I've also seen them in some of the arcades at the resorts (if not all, I definitely saw them in feb in POFQ). They are similar to the ones you'll find in any mall and do require cash so have be ready with some singles, 5s or bills you can ask the cashier to break.

Fun thread!
3 things come to mind along with soaking up the atmosphere and magic.
1. Walking through the gates at MK seeing Main St and the castle for the first time of the trip.
2. Holiday Illuminations
3. Being the last rider on PoTC and having the lights shut off behind you

Going through the gates, under the golden arch, and knowing we are finally home, and in the Disney bubble with a whole exciting vacation ahead of us. The best! We love the sights and smells, and that this is something we can all enjoy together. Being in the moment and not wishing for the weekend to come. And, of course, enjoying a Dole Whip Float while watching Wishes. Doesn't get any better than that.

Being able to be immersed in the "bubble" and forget the outside world for a while:)
No matter what your age, you are young again at Disney.
Arriving at the resort and realizing, "Yes, we are really here and on vacation" Best feeling ever!
ITA about the 'bubble'. We always fly to Disney / take Magical Express, so we never leave the 'bubble'. The resort / parks / Disney Springs ... it's all good:love: Once our Magical Express drives under the Welcome to Disney sign, we have that feeling. :goodvibes

Definitely the feeling of the bubble. I can't narrow down the favs. So I'm doing it per park lol

At resort: campfire and movies. So many great memories.

Magic kingdom: walking down Main Street and heading over to splash mountain. It's our first ride every trip, regardless of wait time, arrival time etc.

Epcot: browsing world showcase stores and hands down the candy lady artist in Japan! At night my daughters love spending time watching the glowing sidewalk.

Animal kingdom: this one is taking in the surroundings. The trails. The detail. You feel like you are anywhere but Florida when you immerse yourself and let imagination run. Eating warm cinnamon nuts.

Disney springs: walking around here at dusk and night. Letting our girls lead us through world of Disney store. Free chocolate at ghiradelle.

I enjoy the rides but not for the thrill of them but more for the theming of them. I love to go on the biggest thrill rides when I visit any other parks but there is nothing like riding something that would be bland in any other park but is amazing in Disney because of their attention to detail and the theming. If I was riding the Great Movie Ride for instance in any other park and it was just a slow ride through a few scenes I would never ride it but at Disney it is a must do every trip. They just do their theming better than anyone else and that is what makes it so special.

Hearing the Welcome message on the Disney bus and "welcome home" at night when we get back to the resort. Love that! We also love wandering around World Showcase in the afternoon, relaxing with a snack and drink after a busy morning somewhere else.

1. Fireworks. I freaking LOVE fireworks.
2. Main Street USA, Magic Kingdom. It's the most magical place on the property to me.
3. Parades, performers, shows, entertainment, "streetmosphere" of any kind. If it's happening, I'm watching it and loving it.
4. The animals at Animal Kingdom. I'm an animal lover, and I can spend the day just walking around (or riding on the safari) looking at the animals.
5. The monorail. Seeing it go by or riding on it, either one. It never gets old. And I laugh every time they do the "Please stand clear of the doors" thing in Spanish because it reminds me of Buzz's "Spanish mode" in Toy Story 3. LOL!

The first things that come to mind to me are:

-walking down Main Street to go to a pre-park opening ADR since the park isn't that busy and I can take in the atmosphere
-eating! There are lots of snacks and restaurants I look forward to on each trip
-seeing the castle lit up at Christmas time - it really is beautiful
-experiencing the magic through the eyes of my kids - we went to MVMCP on our last trip and my 4 year old was in awe when any of the characters waved in his direction during the parade. Most of them were just looking/waving in the general area of where we were but he was convinced they were specifically looking at HIM!

When my family is back at whatever resort we are staying, and everyone is asleep, I love to wonder the resort grounds and just enjoy the peace and quiet, knowing my wife and three kids are asleep and dreaming probably about going to WDW!!!!

In no particular order:
-- Dole Whips. Just...yes
--The recordings on the buses and the Monorail
--Our first ride on POTC
--All our subsequent rides on POTC
--Wishes
--Sitting in the World Showcase on a breezy sunny day
--Ice cream on the BoardWalk
--The cheesy video before Dinosaur

For me I think number 1 would be walking into the land pavilion for the first time on a trip. There is just something about breathing in the smell and hearing the sounds there that triggers something in my brain and heart.

In going to say my children experiencing something new for the first time. Recently my son was finally able to ride RNRC and I had been telling him how great it was. He agreed and the ride blew his mind.

Before that it was simply taking him there and seeing the rope drop show at MK and simpler rides like BTMRR (18 times on his first trip... Thanks old Fastpass! DIAF fastpass+)

Autographs were a big hit this time with both kids.

My daughter was just tall enough for 7DMT so we all got to do that together which was a nice thing and she still talks about how much she loves it and wants to go back.

Just in general my favorite thing to do at WDW is make memories and going back to relive them and make more.

I have been having a hard time lately and I realized I am at my happiest when I am at WDW.

Going through the toll booth. I get flash backs to when we would drive to WDW as a child forty plus years ago, pulling into the toll plaza was the moment you knew you arrived.

Even being a local (now) my favourite thing actually happens before we even step foot in park. It's seeing the 'Welcome To Walt Disney World' sign. No matter your view on the direction of the company, parks, rides, etc. It's such a welcoming sign and feeling to the wonder that will ALWAYS be Disney to me.

All my troubles seem to be a distant memory as long as I am on this property. To me, it's a different (and much welcomed) world. It's just .... Well, Disney!!
