If you are ever at PO Riverside (or any OTHER place for that matter) on most Wednesday, Friday or Saturday evenings, run over to the lounge at POR next to Boatwrights for a fun night of silliness, singing and laugher.

Bob is an entertainer who has been there forever - we never visit WDW without a ADR's at Boatwrights with enough time to sashay next door and a table NOT near the front or you will be called on to entertain.

Bob Jackson performs a family/adult show that will make you laugh more than you can imagine.

Email him and let him know you will be there....he never forgets a name (could be a BAD thing when it's time for the audience to participate in one of his routines). You HAVE been warned.

Anyone else here committed "Bobaholics"?:yay: :cheer2: :rotfl2:
:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Trust me, if you like silly...you like to laugh.....you like to be in a room with like minded silly laughing people....don't miss it!

Yes, definitely catch Bob if he's playing while you're there. People of a certain age will appreciate it most. It really takes you back to your early years, A must see for us every trip :thumbsup2

We love Bob! Last time we stayed at POR, I enjoyed his show (and a couple of tasty mojitos!) while my kids played in the arcade for a while. When my DD came back to check on me and saw the crowd laughing and singing along, she asked me, "Is everyone drunk?" I assured her that no, most of us were not drunk, just enjoying Bob!:rotfl:

The show is much more family orientated earlier in the evening. I LOVE watching Bob with the little children.

All I can say is........if you are male.....and there during the Christmas Season....do EVERYTHING you can to NOT be ..... Lords a Leaping during the 12 days of Christmas!

I was one of the "Lords" in 2002 and 2004. Then I was a "5 golden ring" in 2005 & 2006. What a blast.

We have seen Bob all the time that we are there. We keep in touch once or twice a month via email. What a great person he is.

Remeber, "YOU WILL NEVER SEE THESE PEOPLE AGAIN."

King Goofy ----- ahhh, you were a Lord --- I can only imagine how foolish you looked. Me through the many years I have visited? Golden ring:cutie: , french hen:eek: ..... ladies dancing :dance3: and .....um......geese a laying  for me!

My favorites....My Bonnie Lies over the Ocean....and always....Sarah, Sarah...sitting in a chevrolet!

....all day long she sits and shifts:laughing: ....all night long she shifts and sits:laughing: .......

It's fun to watch large groups. One year we actually had a wedding reception there....I believe they had a few drinks before the wedding party moved to POR for Bob's show. Wisconsin was well represented!

....anyway, thanks for the memories. Only 32 days until BOB for us! :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

I cannot wait for this in April.:) Our first family trips, for four years, was to "Dixie Landings", and every single time we saw Bob in the lounge was after a long day at the parks. I knew how much fun everyone was having, but had to get some sleep. Now that we are DVC members, we no longer stay here. BUT! This is our first "home", so we decided in April to make it a point to pool hop for an afternoon (allowed) and have dinner there, and see Bob!:cool1: I have no idea how we're going to get back to BCV late at night, when its all over, but we'll figure it out. Anyway, what time does he start (will be there on Friday, April 25th) and what time should we get our seats for it? I can't wait!

YeeeeHawwwww! We love Bob! Back in May we stayed @ POR and decided to have drinks in the lounge and Bob happened to be entertaining that night. We had so much fun! After the show, we had our picture taken w/him and i emailed him the other day to let him know we are coming to see him again in Dec. and Jan. We are staying @ Pop the next stays so we are taking the bus to dtd and then the boat taxi. we are taking my 7yr dd this time and i know she will love it! A show you must see!!

Jillpie!

Checkout Bob's website www.yehaabob@yahoo.com. You can email him to double check dates. We wanted to make sure which nights he would be there so we could plan our trip. Happily....we will see him the FIRST night...what a way to begin a 9 day trip!

Travel to and from BCV....

* Going over you can grab a Riverside resort bus from EPCOT or visit DTD and take the boat back - always a nice respite in a busy day.

* Going home....if the boat to DTD is not running, you can always take a taxi back to BCV. We have done this when we traveled with a large group.

We will be there the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend....going in a day early because we found FABULOUS airfare with Southwest...paid for an extra night a POR before we move to BWI. I have made a banner to hang on the wall where our group will be sitting...."We are Bob-Aholics".

Dh and I love Yeehaw Bob! I was a "ladies dancing" and "maids a milking" in December 2005 and DH was one of the "drummers drumming"! We had a great time! Lots of fun!! We are looking forward to seeing Bob in three weeks!!!

I have seen his website, but can anyone tell me what time he starts at night, and when to get there for a seat?

I saw Bob back in 1997 and it was a blast. My DW and I will be there in 27 Days! I saw on his posting (update) that he might take some time off. I hope not over Turkey Break. Does he still yell out "hand clappin'??"

Jillpie - Bob performs from 8:30 - Midnight when he is at POR.

Bob posts his schedule on his website...but will post the next month only a week or so before the beginning of that month. If you want to be sure what days he will be at POR....just drop him and email.

We specifically asked about the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. He wrote back to tell us he will be there.

As far as getting a seat........People come and go during the evening. The true Bobaholics are there between 8:30 - 9 to be sure to get a seat. There is plenty of space for standing.....but the lounge chairs do fill up early.

ok, thank you! We'll be sure to get there early. I really can't wait to make a night of it, it should be a blast. I hope my 2 teenage boys will like it, they're good sports.:)

Anyone planning to be there Saturday, November 24th?

We will be in the Santa Mickey hats and red & white scarves!

Stop by and say YEHAA!

We will be there on the 24th. We wouldn't miss the show. It is a lot of fun but it does tend to be a bit repitious for those of us that have seen the show many time.

We will be in Boatwrights before the show.

I am going to make a "Bobaholics" banner so look for us....stop by and say hello!

We have not been to WDW since last December so we are READY to see Bob on the 24th.....we're just happy we....KNOW THE WORDS.

See you on the 24th!

We will be there Thanksgiving Night. Every year on Thanksgiving Night a man dressed like Santa shows up at Bob's show. He lives near Miami. He doesnt need a costume. :santa: :santa:

We will be there.

I have always wanted to check out this show. We usually go to POFQ to see Elliott Dyson. This year (we will be down for Thanksgiving) we will plan on doing both.
