Good morning all, yesterday was my weigh in and I was down 1.6 for a total of 16.8 after 5 weeks. I am going to ramp up the exercise this week to hopefully see a bigger gain.

Well did my weigh in and stayed the same. I guess it's ok but I would have liked to have at least been down a pound. I have a Disney trip in 2 weeks so I'm a bit nervous about that. Don't want to lose all that I have done in the past few weeks.

Congrats to all who have lost!! Your all doing great.

Don't you mean a bigger loss?? You are doing fantastic!

I went to a party at my cousin's today and ate too much.... hopefully it won't hurt me too much on Tuesday night....

Well I just got back from weigh in. I have lost 3lbs. this week. I switched to Core, so maybe that helped. I am going to stay on Core and see how it works out. Congrats to everyone.

Congratulations on your loss this week, 3 pounds is great! I am curious to know more about what you are doing with Core, I have been thinking of giving it a shot, but have been hesitant.

poutytink, congrats on your loss this week and to being halfway to goal!

Tinkerbell1013, congrats on your 20 pound loss to date, that is about two clothing sizes, that is fantastic!

gypsydoodlebug, three pounds is wonderful, woo hoo! :cool1:

smwf71, all losses should be celebrated! Hope you have a great time at Great Wolfe Lodge. They built one not far from my house here and I have heard it is a wonderful little get away.

Monte Cristo, 16.8 pounds in 5 weeks is super, more than the average 1-2 pounds a week, congrats. Remember if you are exercising more you need to fuel your body more. We had a girl in our meeting that was exercising like crazy, but not eating more so her scale was staying the same and she was frustrated so our leader reminder her to fuel her body. Good luck!

wdw4us, it is frustrating when the scale doesn't move, but remember it wasn't a gain!! At Disney you will be doing a ton of walking, so if you make smart choices while you are there you will be alright.

Onward and downward!!

LOLOLOL, yes thanks. Thanks for the kind words!

10-4, I will make sure I eat every point I have!

Weighed in this morning--and lost 2 more pounds even with splurging on a little chocolate for Valentine's Day! :yay:

That's 19 pounds since I joined on Jan. 5--and 51 pounds over the last 2 years!! Yay me!:cheer2:

I went to WDW from 1/12-1/19 I had just started WW on 1/8 officially. I actually managed to lose weight while I was gone. You will be doing a ton of walking AND it seemed to me like there were more healthy options. At the land in Epcot they had rotisserie chicken, at Cosmic Rays in MK they have rotisserie chicken. I did have a little trouble at the ABC Commissary in MGM but that's because I'm picky - not because they didn't have anything. I shared with DD a lot so I wouldn't throw food away or eat it just because it was there. I still had treats. I got a bucket of the Caramel Corn at Fantasmic (granted it took me the whole week to end up eating it instead of how in the past it would have been gone that night). Most places seemed to offer apple slices instead of fries. Definitely treat yourself - but if you watch portion sizes and choose better options I think you'll be fine. Oh...and if you have the monthly pass you can go to a meeting while you're there if you want to. I went and weighed in one morning during vacation - I didn't stay for the meeting but I did a quick weigh in. Good Luck and have a GREAT time!

I have been trying Core the past week or so and I am going back to Flex. I think I am not counting all my little bites and maybe my portions are too big. I did better on Flex. I need to account for ALL my food, and find that I am craving sweets more since I was not eating as much of them on Core. I like my sugar free ice cream, and occasional chocolate. I didn't crave as much on Flex, I think. I have gained a few pounds again, and continue to struggle with the scale! I am also going to try not to include my activity points in my daily total. Maybe that will boost the weight loss a little bit. I am going to really re-commit this week and get back on track, AGAIN!!! Anyone else struggling right now? :confused3 I can't be the only one!!!

You'll get there! Keep at it! :cheer2:

I do better on Flex as well. That way I can use a few points to splurge a little on chocolate or something if I'm craving it!! If I deprive myself, then that's ALL I can think about! Better to go ahead and have a little and get it out of my system. As you said, I think it helps, too, for me to be accountable for every little thing I put in my mouth!!

Hey guys. I've been MIA, which of course means I have gained. I hide from here when I am not following the program. I start back WW flex today. I'm always amazed at how much I can eat, when I eat the right things.

Hope everyone has a great week.

I haven't had a great week.... went to a family party yesterday and over ate.... home made macaroni and cheese... wow was it good. I've done pretty well today..... I'm looking at this as a lifestyle change and there will be good days and bad days..... I'm trying to not let a bad day or week even- throw me totally off program!

Back from the World. I knew I wasn't going to be able to count points while there but I did make sure I wasn't a pig at the buffets. I did better than I thought I think I only gained like 5 pounds.

Now back to our regular scheduled program and back to counting points.

I'm up 1.5 pounds. Really went off program last week. No excuse I just did. Plus my ankle was bothering me and I didn't work out much at all. I'm happy to say I kicked myself back into gear yesterday and go back on program. I was also able to get a good workout last night after putting on an elastic brace. So it is a new week for me.

Congrats to all those who have lost! For the rest of us we can do this! We are worth it!

I am down .8 this week, which was a pleasant surprise since I downed a whole big bag of chips myself over the past 2 days. I definitely need to stay on track if I want that to be a true loss.

Harvest02- Hang in there. I have never tried core, just because I eat too many foods every day that are not on core. Unfortunately I love my snacks. I have been trying not to use my activity points either, to boost the weight loss, but haven't been too successful. I write them all down, but toward the end of the week, there aren't enough flex points left, and I use the aps. You can do it!!

WDWLVR- Sorry about your gain, but you have that winning attitude and you'll be losing again in no time.

I<3EvilQueen-Ah, wdw. I'm jealous. 5 pounds isn't too bad. Were you on the dining plan? and if so, how was it? Welcome back.

Mermaid02-We all have our splurges, and like you said, don't let it throw you completely off. Just get back on program, and you'll be fine. Don't beat yourself up over it. We are all human, and you are right, it is a lifestyle change, and we need to deal with ups and downs. Hang in there.

NCRedding-Welcome back and good luck! You can do it!!

DizneeMommy-Congratulations on your fabulous weight loss to date!! 51 pounds is awesome!!! You should be so proud.

Monte Cristo- Congratulations on your loss!!! Weigh to go!! 16 pounds in 5 weeks is great!!

wdw4us-You must be getting so excited for your trip. Like WDWorBUST said, there are many more healthy choices now. I went over a year ago, and for breakfast in the food court, I got a childrens meal a couple times, and you do so much walking you definitely burn it off. Have a blast.

tiggerlover- Welcome back!! It's great to see you posting again. You are motivating me to come on here more often. Always the inspiration.

Cepmom and Tubachick- Congratulations on your losses! I love when I make one pound, it feels like so much more than 0.8 is.

Sorry if I've missed anyone. Congratulations to everyone here for making the choice to live a healthier life. We can do this!!:cheer2:

mikamah,

Yes we were on the DDP. This was our first time using the DDP, so we decided to try it (even though it isn't as good a deal as it was last year).

It was ALOT of food. As I wouldn't normally get a desert with every lunch and dinner. The toughest part is you instantly look at the menu for the highest price value, instead of what you might normally get (so that you can get the best value for your buck).

So for example at Cosmic Ray's where I would normally get a wrap or a salad, instead I got the Rib and Chicken combo that was the highest price value (as being on the DDP it didn't matter).

One other tip I would give is to use your snack credits for fruit or even water (instead of Mickey Bars and Churros etc)...

back from WI....down .6 this week. I took several days off of exercising last week because I had a bad cold/virus thing going on and felt lousy. But I'm back to exercising every day and hoping to see the loss increase next week.

Last weekend I bought some new pants....I had told myself when I got under a certain weight I could go shopping, so I am happy to say I was able to buy size 8 jeans:cool1: I haven't been able to wear size 8 since I got married:woohoo: Also...had to go to a funeral yesterday and went to pull out my dress pants only to find they were huge on me! What a good feeling to have nothing that fits but because everything is too big instead of the other way around!

EvilQueen..we did the dining plan a couple of years ago when they offered free dining the first time and I thought it was too much food...We were stuffed by the end of the week. I don't think we'll do that again :sad2:

good luck everyone this week!

Congrats cepmom on the size 8 jeans! Yippee! That's my goal, to be back in a size 8.
Homemade mac n cheese, double yum! Mermaid02 great attitude! It is sooo hard to keep in mind this is NOT a diet but, a lifestyle change. Enjoy and then back on track!
Weigh in for me today. Down 1.2 for a total of 5.6 in 3 weeks. I was thrilled with the loss since we celebrated DS's bday this weekend. I tried to make the best choices possible.
Congrats to all, gain or loss, for sticking to it.

Well, we're having a photo shoot today for my magazine. Lucky for me, I just got my braces tightened yesterday, so I can't eat much. We did have some really awesome homemade bleu cheese dressing, but all I could do was dip plain Saltines in them, and I counted both.

Now if I can just avoid the cannoli ...
