Anyone ever do a New England/Canadian cruise?

Frankly, I’m less interested in the leaves, but from what I’ve gathered, Canadian cruises only happen in Sept and Oct.

I'm not a cruiser, but I live in Halifax. There are cruises in port here from April to the end of October. although the fall is the busiest.

We were in Halifax on September 27th when there were extra ships in port, that had been diverted there because of the Hurricane further south. One of the diverted passengers said she expected to be in her bikini in Bermuda that day, not shivering at Peggy Cove.
