The weather here has been terribly hot and humid. Almost to the point that I am having a hard time breathing outside.
Well anyway, the other day, my daughter and I went to the beach to see if there was any type of breeze by the ocean. Nope there wasn't, it was actually very still and so so muggy. There was a young girl about 18-20 with a baby in a car seat. She was laying out tanning. I heard the cry, and could tell it was a newborn, so I approcahed her to see the baby, well, the baby was BRAND SPANKING NEW. 8 days old, in a one piece sleeper with a blanket over the top of the carrier. She moved the blanket and when I see this baby was sweating and totally red from he heat, I am not exagerating. I told her I thought maybe it was too hot for such a little baby, and she just ignored me.
My dd and I stayed for about another hour or so and she was still there when we left.
Do you think exposing newborns to extreme heat is child abuse?
I do.

. Honestly, she sounds like a very irresponsible kid all around. I hope the baby is ok.
I hope the darling baby is okay.
