Well, I had a busy lunch hour signing up for races! I am now officially registered for a 10K on St. Patrick's Day (grand prize - win you weight in beer!) and the Calgary Half Marathon.
My company is putting on a corporate fitness challenge March 1 - June 1. You keep track of your activities online for points and you can win prizes. Between the races and the fitness challenge I now have some great incentives to get out there and be active!
I'm hoping to get a run in this evening, then this weekend I'm planning on breaking out of the usual run in the neighborhood to run downtown. There are some great pathways that run alongside the river that cuts through Calgary. They are well cleared of snow and ice, and it will be great to see some beautiful scenery while I'm out.
Congrats to everyone that has been keeping up so well with their training! You guys are definitely an inspiration for me to keep at it.
Jen - great pace!
Carrie - Yes - watch out for the Marathon Girl. I own a ton of Gym Girls, but I got my first Marathon Girl in the mail by the Convert to Skirt program. Yes - the one inch difference is huge!
Also, congratulations on the job
Angie! Best of luck as you start up.
By the way, for those of you that are sad about missing the skirt sale, think about the Convert to Skirt program. Send in your old, tatty running shorts and convert them into sassy running skirts at 45% off.

Plus for every pair of shorts you send in, $1 is donated to the American Heart Associations Go Red for Women campaign.
