slo’s WEDNESDAY 1/7 poll - Bobbleheads

So….I’m sitting here watching the news and see on their headlines ticker that today is National Bobblehead Day. I quickly look it up, and sure enough, it is - there’s a day for everything. So, this made me think of all the bobbleheads my DD22 has (that I hate dusting) and how many my DH has (he’s on his own to dust those in his man cave) and how many you all have (I’m definitely not dusting yours either ). Let’s find out some info on this day, that some people may enjoy…..


Now, let’s find out how many bobbleheads you all have in your bobblehead collection. Give us your bobbly good answer today…..

For Me…..I do not collect bobbleheads. I’m not gonna lie, I find them dreadfully ugly. As I mentioned above, my DD22 has shelves of them in her Chicago Blackhawks bedroom (she has lots of memorabilia). My DH has several in his auto racing themed man cave. He doesn’t have as many as DD. My dad has a bizillion of them in his Chicago White Sox room (we just bought him a new one for Christmas). They really aren’t easy to quickly dust since the head moves. Dusting hers is on my to do list this winter. I need to dust them because she no longer lives here full time and when she gets a house one day, she’ll take them and make a fun Blackhawks room there - then she can dust them

I don't collect them. I have a few that wobble with the sun, not sure if they are really bobbleheads.

I remember my Great grandfather owning a Cubs bobblehead. I always wondered what happen to it.

There’s an Austin Powers bobble head floating around somewhere in our house. Haven’t seen it in a while. Lol.

Don’t care for them they are not for me so I have zero bobble heads and I agree I would not care to dust any of them because it would be a massive pain

I don’t collect them but my son left his behind in his bedroom here.

Know there are 4 Toronto Blue Jay ones , don’t ask which ones not sure and one is a Baseball. Award he got when he played as a kid, it’s metal.

We have one that my daughter made in college with her picture in it. Other than that they've never really interested me.

@slo I'm a diehard Bruins fan but the Blackhawks have always been my "other" team. Been following them since the Booby Hull and Stan Makita days!!

I've gotten a few - like others, as giveaways at sporting events, but probably only have one or two of those still around. I've turned around and given a number of them away to other people. I think my kids probably have one or two random ones in their rooms as well.

We have accumulated 14, most from what was our favorite MLB team including one right here on my computer desk.

I worked a season with the Cinti Reds so the workers received a bobblehead on giveaway days, this is the only reason I have any.

I don't collect bobbleheads, not really a fan of them. I do technically have one that was given to me for free at an Anaheim Ducks game, but I don't think this counts as it was free and is currently sitting in my office at work.

We have 4 or 5. I don’t collect bobbleheads but I received them as giveaways at various sporting events.

The most recent was October 2024. Mario Lemieux at a Pittsburgh Penguins NHL game.

DH has them on top of a bookcase in his Man Cave.
