I got good news, and bad news that turned into good news, and just more good news
The Good news is that you are reading a msg from a Nominee for "Employee of the Year"! (applause .....applause....applause....
stop). It is a very prestigious thing to get....there are 12 of us WorldWide. But
IF I win there is COLD HARD CASH attached.

I just got a very short email from the CEO congradulating me on my nomination. My Boss didnt even know about it! And he knows less than I do about any of this!
The bad news turned into good news is....I ordered a whole mess of stuff from Disney (on Cyber monday) about 14 items to the tune of 114.00!

Well it all arrived today. The bad news is that a Mickey Christmas Lawn Statue and a Christmas ornament were smashed to pieces.

Disney has got to be the worst at packing their stuff. SOOOOO I call the 800 number and the guy tells me to ship it back.

I dont want to pay for shipping (since the Mickey statue is like 25 lbs) since I had free shipping. He then tells me I can return it at a
Disney store, where I can exchange or get a credit. Fine!
On my way to work tonight I do pass a Mall with a Dis Store. So I schlep the boxes there. Unfortunately the Manager of the store WONT accept the items. for the following reasons
1) They dont except Disney "classic" merchandise returns (whatever that is?

)
2) My reciept is a "Gift Receipt" that is "UNACCEPTABLE"...even though I paid for the stuff....they DID sent me a gift receipt (no $$$$ show up on it)
....AND (this was my favorite)
3) "You know we ONLY do this as a COURTESY for the Online Store, I really shouldnt be bothered with any of this!"
I asked asked her since I am the paying customer where is MY Courtresy????

She had no answer.
So I schlepped the stuff back to the car and drove

to work...LIVID.

"just wait till I get them on the phone...gonna give them a PIECE OF MY MIND"
Soooooooooo I got to work and called Disney again (do they flippen know WHO they are dealing with)
The sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetest girl answered the phone, her name was Amy. I told her about the broken items, gave her my order ID....and she said...NO Problem, we will ship new ones...Just throw the broken ones away!
No worries, no hassles only Hakuna Mathata...NUTIN but deflection of my rage!
Why couldnt the first guy do this?
And THIS IS IT....technically my GRAND FINALE at work. Just have to put a couple of hours in on Monday night, and do a 'special" secret project the following Saturday night (shhhhhhhh dont tell anyone) thats it for the YEAR for me.
