Hi all...no Kitchenaid mixer here Cally....then people might think i can / should cook...bake...etc....did i tell ya that i think "kitchens" should be optional on houses....
well it finally started raining here....so will most likely rain thru the night...which is okay....we NEED the rain
having a "Silpada" party here tomorrow night...so need to get some things ready...having wine/cheese & some holiday goodies as well...whatever i can pick up from the store/bakery etc tomorrow

You will love it if you bake alot...it is so much easier then other mixers....and all the attachments for it are great...Id like to get the Ice cream maker for it...some day....

We always let the show record ifrst and then watch it right after...so we are always an hr. behind everything....BUT no commercials

The only money I need now is souvies, groceries and food.

The last trip to the world I was still using the ex-Boss' camera. It'll be interesting to see the pics I come home with with this one. I only have memory enough for 2000

Anyone see the Nikon commercial where the whole town gets one? They all loved it and the photographs were GORGEOUS. That was the D40. That's what I bought.

I am so antsy inside, waiting for saturday to get here...we fly out of Philly just before 4. I have John dropping us off around 2 with a side trip for cheesesteaks.

Since I've been home, I've cleaned alot...it is a perpetual job... know what that means? That means Robin's right...live life, the cleaning will always be there for you.

If you intend to bake? YES! Get the kitchen aid! They are pricey but worthy. I have one. It's a little dusty. It requires counter space that I don't really have.

Brenda, for as little as you eat at home I am surprised you eat healthy...really...that's a good thing. A huge success.

I've got a Body Shop party with a side of Creative Memories scheduled for the day after we return! I'm going to recruit my sister to get the people. My friend started as a Body Shop hostess when she was laid off. I promised to have a party. She and another friend want to know about CM, so I am going to show them my stuff seperately that same day.

Brenda, what I need you for is ideas...

What do I sell my friends this month to get them to a Scrapbooking/Gathering next month? What projects or packages do I put together for them please??? I think they all want to focus on vacations and family photos albums.

I got good news, and bad news that turned into good news, and just more good news

The Good news is that you are reading a msg from a Nominee for "Employee of the Year"! (applause .....applause....applause....stop). It is a very prestigious thing to get....there are 12 of us WorldWide. But IF I win there is COLD HARD CASH attached.

I just got a very short email from the CEO congradulating me on my nomination. My Boss didnt even know about it! And he knows less than I do about any of this!

The bad news turned into good news is....I ordered a whole mess of stuff from Disney (on Cyber monday) about 14 items to the tune of 114.00! Well it all arrived today. The bad news is that a Mickey Christmas Lawn Statue and a Christmas ornament were smashed to pieces. Disney has got to be the worst at packing their stuff. SOOOOO I call the 800 number and the guy tells me to ship it back. I dont want to pay for shipping (since the Mickey statue is like 25 lbs) since I had free shipping. He then tells me I can return it at a Disney store, where I can exchange or get a credit. Fine!

On my way to work tonight I do pass a Mall with a Dis Store. So I schlep the boxes there. Unfortunately the Manager of the store WONT accept the items. for the following reasons
1) They dont except Disney "classic" merchandise returns (whatever that is? )
2) My reciept is a "Gift Receipt" that is "UNACCEPTABLE"...even though I paid for the stuff....they DID sent me a gift receipt (no $$$$ show up on it)
....AND (this was my favorite)
3) "You know we ONLY do this as a COURTESY for the Online Store, I really shouldnt be bothered with any of this!"

I asked asked her since I am the paying customer where is MY Courtresy???? She had no answer.

So I schlepped the stuff back to the car and drove to work...LIVID. "just wait till I get them on the phone...gonna give them a PIECE OF MY MIND"

Soooooooooo I got to work and called Disney again (do they flippen know WHO they are dealing with)

The sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetest girl answered the phone, her name was Amy. I told her about the broken items, gave her my order ID....and she said...NO Problem, we will ship new ones...Just throw the broken ones away!
No worries, no hassles only Hakuna Mathata...NUTIN but deflection of my rage!

Why couldnt the first guy do this?


And THIS IS IT....technically my GRAND FINALE at work. Just have to put a couple of hours in on Monday night, and do a 'special" secret project the following Saturday night (shhhhhhhh dont tell anyone) thats it for the YEAR for me.
