No flames here. Now, I will say that all my kids learned when playing sports, you go to practice unless the coach calls and cancels. BUT, we never, ever had a coach not call it when it was lightening.
We did have a baseball coach that had practice in the road one time! They were trying to get ready for All-Stars and it rained and rained and rained. At the university in town, the stands for the football stadium go over a road, so the road is covered. He had a player stand at each end of the road and he would practice plays until one of them called "car" and everyone got out of the road.
But, it wasn't lightening!
