When do the Birnbaum's books come out

They usually come out with the new edition in September.

Buying a guide book that actually says "2004" on it makes my trip feel closer.

You usually start seeing them pop up in Late September/early October.

The Unofficial Guide to Disney 2004 edition comes out in August. I've preordered mine through Amazon. Check on Amazon and it will give you a date.

Birnbaum's guide changes slightly from year to year, so there won't be much of a difference between the 2003 and 2004 editions. If you have the 2003, take a look at the 2004 before you buy it to see if there is really anything updated that you'll "need" to have the book for. Otherwise, put some post-its in your 2003 and write in some updated info!

I used Birnbaum's 1999 when we went in 2000 and it was great. If it comes out before Christmas, it would make a GREAT gift to the chaperones for our Girl Scout Trip for June 2004!!!!
