What's up with "search" ?

Guess I missed this thread. Any plans for reinvigorating the search feature? It's incredibly useful, so hope it's back soon.

It's automatically turned off when there is a heavy use load on the DIS. Try it early in the morning or late at night. I did a search not too long ago, so I know it's on periodically during the day.
