What's the temperature inside the ships?

We'll be cruising dec.11th and I'm wondering what the average temperature will be inside the ship, (common places, restaurants, theaters, etc). I get cold very easily and since I can only bring two pieces of luggage I'll be trying my best to pack wisely (I usually overpack).

Agreed. I have found that the indoor temperature can vary a lot from room to room, with some areas can be quite chilly and the room next door significantly warmer. Bring a sweater or a pashima. You won't regret it.

Cool to chilly depending on the venue/space and depending on your "local temp"!

As other's have posted, a sweater or shawl is a good idea if you don't like cooler temperatures!

I agree with the other replies. In fact, I have photos of me with my pretty formal night outfit, with a big gray sweatshirt over top because I was so cold in one of the lounges for trivia.

I am planning on warmer clothes the first two days (sun-mon) then summer clothes until the last full day then warmer. I always have sweaters and shawls with me even in the warmest weather as I also tend to get cold easily. Since it is winter here you might want to take a jacket as I am sure the ship will be chilly if you want to walk on deck.

I think the dining rooms are cold enough to keep ice cream from melting. I always bring a sweater or something extra to wear over my outfit for the dining rooms.

If you are prone to be chilly, take a sweater. Especially on the Caribbean cruises it's better to have it a little cool rather than a little hot and a little humid. I think the wait staff would be very uncomfortable with all they wear and all their activity if they kept the dining rooms much warmer.

Thanks for your replies, looks like I'm going to be bringing more sweaters, coats & pashminas that I thought. I consider cold anything below 70 degrees

The fact your sitting down and not moving around a lot in the DR's and Theatre could have something to do with feeling cold.

As tvguy said, the wait staff would be a lot warmer if the temperature was higher, and the performers on stage would be A LOT warmer, but I think it's more down to trying to regulate the temperate to suit everyone, from the East Coast to the West Coast, and those in between. Plus the additional spaces the AC will affect.
