So what rides do you constantly hear about, that you just dont like? Were you expecting more out of a ride because of a review & then let down?

The ride does not have to be awful, just not live up to expectations in YOUR opinion?

For me it's POTC and HM. I just do not like those rides, I don't see what's so great about them, especially POTC. People say its a classic, but its not a classic for the newer generations visiting the parks for the first times, so I'm really glad POTC is getting an update.

My DH thought Space Mountain was in his words "sucky." All the hype for it and it was pretty pathetic as far as roller coasters go. We even ran and were in the first car of the day, he thought we would have been better off running to Buzz.

:furious: I hate Mission Space!!! I get light headed & want to throw-up afterwards.

DH and the kids loved it but I thought it was just OK. Not at all what I expected. :confused3

Jungle Cruise and Space Mountain. I don't HATE either of them, but I wouldn't stand in line for them. I don't understand the long waits for those attractions. What a waste of time.

For me, it was Mission Space & Soarin.

I just did not like Mission Space AT ALL. And the more intense, the scarier the ride, the better for me. But I did not like Mission Space. I was really light headed when I came off & not feeling well. I dont think I will ever ride that again. I guess that is what I am not an astronaut right? :rotfl2:

Also Soarin...I liked it. It was interesting. But not the most amazing thing ever. And with out a doubt, NOT worth an hour+ wait. I am glad we did fast pass for it, otherwise I would have been pretty let down.

Soarin'. The first time we rode it, be were front row in the left section. We thought it was just OK.

BIL hadn't been on it yet, so we went on again, this time front row, middle section. It was a little better second time, but still not "great".

Last time we were at WDW, we didn't even bother going on it.

I have to say that Test Track was way overhyped, I thought. It really is not very "thrilling".

1. Star Tours: this ride has seen its day. Basically sitting in a theatre getting jerked around to an old movie. Great theme, but the line to get in is better than the ride. Time for an update!

2. Jungle Cruise: I know its an old Walt Disney classic, but it should have been quietly laid to rest 25 years ago. Mildly interesting the first time you go on it, but after that, forget it.

3. Indy Speedway: I can't believe this still exists at WDW. Very low tech ride with HUGE lines and not much entertainment value.

(You guys don't like Soarin? Wow!)

Soarin'! I just didn't enjoy it like others have! I guess it's not my thing!! :confused3

Test Track by FARRRR is the most overhyped I've ever seen. In my son's words "we had more excitement driving down here on the interstate". I mean really, 65 mph on the interstate and people are running over you. They really need to get rid of that dud of a ride.

You obviously are over the age of 3 ;) My 2 and 3 yo boys thought it was the best thing to ever happen in their young lives. We went during a slow time and the cm let us ride it 2 times in a row w/out getting out. when we did have to get out, I had to pull both boys out crying and had to literally drag them screaming and crying up the stairs to the exit. :rotfl: So, it does provide entertainment value: to my boys and to all the people who watched me drag them off the ride. :rotfl2:

I'm going to have to say Test Track. I think it's fun but not worth the hype and the wait.

Happy Brat your little girl is adorable!! Soarin' was a disappointment to us...we were glad to ride it but will probably skip it next year.

I hate the Indy speedway but my 2 year old really thought he was driving and LOVED it.

Well, if you want to talk about HYPE with no substance, I've got THREE words for ya...

CINDER.

ELLA.

BRATION.

(OK, its ONE word, but its still the most over-hyped, low-delivery "attraction" in WDW history.)

I have to go with Robo on Cinderellabration. I really looked forward to it and was a little disappointed. Just didnt feel like Disney "brought it" on that one.
