What other message boards do you frequent?

Generally 100+ pounds, Food Finds and Recipe Review. I use a different name, and haven't really participated since mid November (should get back over there, except that my Disney trip is coming up and I'm getting psyched!).

it can be a fun, supportive group on those boards. The 30's board can get a little "rough" sometimes. LOL.

Yay for your upcoming Dis trip! I am going in May, so now I am here (also Restaurants and Resorts boards) more often.

Sorry if that makes on seence or my gramer is worse the usual i got my wisdom teeth that havn't even finished and barley started growing in taken out and i took pain killer they gave me and now i'm all sleepy and loopy.

Hey, how did it go with your peer review (that's what it was, wasn't it?)? Have you got an agent? Hope all is going well!

It went really well. I got a couple of really good suggestions that I have incorporated into my young adult novel.

I submitted one of my pictures books to an agent for consideration. Unfortunately, I have not heard back from them. If I don't hear back from them within thirty days, they are not interested. December 11 will be thirty days, so I am preparing to send it off to another agent. Unfortunately, ever agent is looking for different things. You just have to keep submitting until you find the right one. This could be a long drawn out process, but I have nothing more pressing to do.

Just for fun, here is a couple of lines from one of my stories...

"In place of arms, one would have flippers. He'd have long skinny legs and wear big purple slippers. One, with long lashes, would have her ears tied in bows and a very long nose that reached down to her toes."

I believe it is supposed to be saying: I got my wisdom teeth that haven't even finished, and barely started growing in, taken out. In other words, the OP's wisdom teeth have just started coming in and they got them taken out!

Right now I also visit a haunted house message board (Halloween kind), a few private boards and sometimes a local Frisco site. I rarely post on the Frisco one though because they definitely have the market cornered on snarkiness. I also go the WildTangent gamesite occasionally.

Thanks for the update! Glad to hear it went well. Do you find the writer's forum you mentioned helpful? Is that where you found your review group?

I like the lines from your story! It sounds like a similar vein as, "The Phantom Tollbooth".

Crazy Meds is a great forum! I haven't been on there in a long time. I almost posted in the Xanax thread that they should just go over there.

That it is. It's taught me a lot about the various medications and was instrumental in my building my own website, amongst other things.
