Ok, so my camera is absolutely awful, (Nikon Coolpix) maybe 7 years old. It never works in dark areas, I don't even know how to turn the flash off, not good with motion, so I was wonderding what type of camera do you use? A phone or normal camera? If so what type? What is the best camera out there, that you get the most bang for your buck? Thanks:thumbsup2

I love my Rebel - but it's very bulky. Not something you can just stick in your pocket. Wonderful for those "can't miss" shots though. Best purchase I ever made!

I use my Nikon D90. It's a dslr so it's bigger - not a pocket sized camera. I use it for my WDW trips. If you are looking for something smaller, I would look at a good point & shoot. We have a Sony that takes good pictures. IMO - I think a point & shoot takes better pics than most cameras on cell phones.

Good question! I need to know too! My camera actually broke on our trip in March!

I have a Canon 50D and a Panasonic Lumix. The Canon is a DLSR so it is bigger and heavier. The Panasonic is a point and shoot. Takes great pictures and can easily slip into a holster or pocket.

I picked up a Sony Cybershot DSC-W350 14 mega pixel camera for our trip. Its very small and light weight, takes good pictures and HD video. I do suggest you goto a store a feel one in your hand to make sure its not too small…

I lugged my Nikon around WDW for 8 years although the images are great and you can be creative, by the end of the day it gets really heavy and it literally becomes a pain in the neck. 2 years ago I bought a Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1 (old model now) and I just keep it in it's holster on my belt and it is the smartest thing I could have done. It is easy to use and takes excellent images. I don't know where your are but if there's a Costco you can check them out and they have a 90 day no questions asked return policy so if you see one you like you can try it out and if you like it your set, if not try another one! If this is not your first trip it's the way to go!
