We haven't drawn a line in the sand. Those people are in difficult situations their churches put them in, not us. If you're Mormon and gay, the church wants nothing to do with you, so the call is yours. If you're not willing to hide who you are or pretend to be a born-again straight, they kick you out, your family ditches you, you're an abhorration.
The Catholics are a little more easy going around these parts. They kind of turn a blind eye to a whole bunch of stuff. I have a whole bunch of Catholic relatives that don't celebrate my homosexuality, but are willing to just not talk about it, it's a compromise I'm ok with for the sake of family peace.
