Is this a change to paying dues with gift cards?

This worked last year. But that was before the new autopay system went into effect. I took whatever GC I had (from the Christmas sales) and applied them to dues then turned autopay on.

I need to call them before doing anything I dont want to get screwed

Correct! They allowed it up until the grace period last year.

I would expect it to be the same this year unless we hear they will enforce the Jan 15th date.

So if I paid say $1000 with gift card today can I then turn on auto pay for the balance as long as I do it prior to Jan 15? I have never used autopay before so not up to speed on the rules and regulations

Yes…you can definitely turn it on through January 15th.

What is unclear is if they will allow it to be turned on during the grade period.

Last year they did…but there was information I read somewhere that seemed to suggest it might work differently this year!

Where did you read that? I’m hoping to be able to turn it on after January 15th.

This 100% worked last year. So if you're near a Sam's Club...

One of my memberships has been on autopay since purchased. Last week, I turned off autopay, paid 2026 dues in full with multiple GCs and lastly turned autopay back on. It now shows autopay as activated and next payment of Jan 2027.
