Lainey, glad you went to bed to get some rest. Seems like I've booked my vacation up so much there isn't any of that!

Speaking of which, the interview that went so well? I decided to do a session as a customer, so I could see how the process goes. Then, we decided that I'd observe the night shift on Tuesday night, so I'm having a working vacation, lol.

Kevin did awesome with the crabcakes tonight. Little bugger ended up eating three of them! I took pictures along the way-it'd make a great scrapbooking thing, but I won't have the time to do that until the kids are out of the house Here's some of them:

seasoning the home fries

mixing the peppers and garlic

mixing the good stuff

look at my yummy crab cakes!

He worked really hard and then asked his picky brother what he was eating, lol. Now he's crashed on sleeping daddy.

I asked what our next dinner project is and he said "Crab Soup" Got an idea that this kid likes seafood?

Suzanne...great picks of your youngin!! That's great that you have a kid that likes to cook. Mine likes to make cookies and such but real food?? no way. When you ask him what he wants for dinner it is almost always a restaurant that he wants!! (psst....did i explain the crabcake okay?? hehehe)

Elaine...did you get the tag of that truck?? hope you feel better. I think the flu is something like the truck effect.

Karen...sorry we were so chatty. guess that means you gotta drop in a little more often!!

Well, Jarrod cut his life line a little short tonight...I was hugging him and I was feeling his ribs and told him he really needed to eat more, his answer, "no I don't, I don't want to be fat like you!!!" He told me that he likes grandma's fat, but not mine!! oh kids!!

Anyway, off to get ready for brunch. Got up early to tidy up and vacuum...again! All I have to say is these people better make it today. I am not a patient person in this whole process. I feel like my whole life is upside down as all my usual clutter places have be decluttered and now I can't find anything....and what if these people look in my underwear drawer while I am not here

OH well....off for another fun filled day!

And for those that didn't figure it out...Lily and Ted are heading this way today! I am so excited. WIll have to check back later in the day to let you know of teh fun we had....and just be ready with the bail money!

Morning everyone! I am still tired today, but I can tell you it isn't the flu. Mostly because I am not coughing at all and have no fever However, I do think it was something allergy related because I took benadryl before I went to bed and even though I was tired, I felt okay. Same for this morning. So I'll take some more and hope that it was something in the sandwich I had that just didn't take well with my body.

Auriel I do hope you find time to relax and take a holiday. It really sounds like you are in dire need of a vacation! A friend of mine just was getting over shingles and she was told stress can factor in big time for it returning.

Tara, I mostly pointed it out to pick on Alan. He's kind of fun to pick on isn't he?

Suzanne you really are having a working vacation! Don't do that next time As for the Kevin pics, they are absolutely adorable! But I admit Kevin looks so different from the last time I saw him. I couldn't see the freckles in the first pic and the hair is much shorter! If it weren't for the bright blue eyes, I might not have known it was him But they are so cute and I am glad he did so well!

I read this three times not understanding it. Until I went back to my original post and realized that I had goofed!! Apparently I forgot the shift key!! hehehe The shorts are $19.50 not $419.50!! So it was a real woohoo not a sarcastic woohoo!! I knew I should have gone to bed much earlier than I did!! hehehehe

I heard Ethan at about 8 this morning. So I decided I'd get up, take my shower (didn't forget today!), and as soon as I got done I'd get him up because Jar would surely be up by then. My plan was to hit the Golden Corral for breakfast buffet and then hit walmart for the soil for my flower bed. Well, here I am dressed and ready to go and neither one of my twerps are up yet they were watching HP last night and didn't go to bed until a little after 10, so I guess now they are going to sleep in and I'll starve before they get up!! (well, I guess according to Jar that would be okay!! )

Off to look around on the boards and see what good happened overnight!!

Had a good day yesterday. Stocked up at Sam's, got a new pair of flip flops at the mall, and 3 of the boys bought video games (they had to spend their allowance $! LOL). Went to Golden Corral for dinner, then came home and Junior gave the boy's haircuts and we watched a movie.

Tara, at your shower story. And $419.50 shorts? And Jarrod...oh my, what a little bugger, for sure. Sounds like something Julian would say to me.

Kimmie, I so laughed at that first part about Mac lying! I used to always think the same about him not being a rock star! I'll have to read the rest of the review in a few!

As for the car... well... I like Pearl. I'm finally getting over the issue with driving her after the spin out. I forgot to post here, but I saw a major accident at the very same curve where Pearl spun. This one was huge though, so I think they never cleared up that loose gravel and water pit that was there (though iced over) when I was there. But... we may need a new car for a bunch of other reasons. So if we do this, it will be slow thinking about it and deciding. 2 doors just will not cut it in the future.
Subaru is also up there and I like the Forrester and Outback, but want a sunroof. The CRV is also one I love as well.
Though the Civic Si was awesome... sooooo cool! If they ever made a four door....

Just hard to find cars that are manual transmissions though. Luis thinks I need to give that up though

Today was Friendship Day at church, so we ate lunch at church today. Stopped at Super K on the way home to pick up a few things, and ended up buying a new TV for our bedroom.
