Okay -- now I want to know the restaurant that Liz and Lily ate at?? :confused3 It got censored! :scared1: Just what kind of place was it, girls????????????? :rotfl:

Liz! :woohoo: Great news all around!! :thumbsup2

JRKaren - hmmmmmm.... and my DH was out at Harrisburg on Sat. Sorry, I'll be gone this weekend, work calls, I'll have to pass on the cleaning detail. DARN! :sad1: But this is just for you....

Suzanne - beer was cheaper than pop at the movies? :teeth:

Hey, Sherry! Ready for the snow today?

Pam..... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

We really were at a very nice place called the peninsula...and I just can't type!! I guess I was just thinking something else..... :rotfl2: Maybe I will find that I have brain farts or problematic brain matter....I blame Tiara!! It must be contagous!! :rotfl:

Karen, sorry about your cleaning woes. We went through a lot of that the past few months. The garbage man has not seen a little garbage pile in nonths...it seems like there is always a new place to clean out. The attic will be next...that one is not going to be pretty. But, according to Lily...our once overstuff pantry will pass the Amanda test...and that is a good thing :teeth:

I am the same height as Jordon...but it would seem not for long. He wasn't anywhere near that height when I saw him! Amazing how fast they grow. Sherry, I would be very afraid of your grocery bill with 4 boys!! You moms never cease to amaze me!!

Suzanne, sounds like a good day for you!! How goes the job hunt? How feels the footsies? Hope all is well with all of that!!

Lainey, did you get any snow? They are saying there is snow here in Central Indiana...but we are snowless :teeth: Hope you are too...See you next weekend. I am getting really excited!!

Hey Lily, ya know that are other pictures you could have posted...like ones of you and Ted.... :teeth: Thanks for coming over! I had such a great time. Can we do that again...soon? What fun!! Hope playing catch up at work isn't too bad!! Thinking good thoughts for your son's surgery tomorrow too!

Nancy, sorryt o hear you are indireent about the pearl. I LOVE perals! I think part of the beauty is that they are all differant! Those imperfetions really aren't impefects...they are just part of the pearl I am sure M'Cory will love the gift. She has a great MIL!! How is the weather out by you?

Tara, kids say the darndest things!! I would not put to much stock into a 5 year olds opinion of one's butt....but a bunch of 40 somethings tellin you that you have brain farts...that is something to worry about :lmao:

Hi Kim and KImmie!!! Hi Alan! Hi Paula!! Hi Bethie!! Hi RoseMary!! Hi Tony!! Hi Nutsy!! Who have I missed? It is not intentional...I think I am still in a fog.

Off to get ready for my physical today and a few errands. Gonna get the hairs cut and colored tomorrow. We need to get the ice maker in the freezer fixed so the ice on the door works...got to have the garbage disposal fixed...that broke last week...and just last night something on Greg's jacuzzi tub is leaking...gotta get that fixed too. Gotta love this house stuff.

Have a great day and I will check in a bit later!!

Pam, I'm hoping the snow misses us again. :teeth: We have had some flurries though this morning. :rolleyes1 Are you ready?

Liz, Jordan shot up out of nowhere. And Jonathan is already a little taller than me too and Jared will be soon. Its weird having your kids be taller than you. Groceries for 4 boys can get very expensive.

Morning all....

Suzanne - I still haven't seen Narnia - looking forward to it.....beer at the movies - my DH would so be there!!

Liz.... :cool1: :thumbsup2 :cool1: Many - many congrats.

Lily - great pics - thanks for sharing.

Karen.....good luck with the cleaning - amazing how much we all accumulate over the years.

Sherry - since we are giving height info...Chris is at least 6'2" I think - my husband is 6'1" and the shortest of the 5 boys in his family.

Pam, Nancy, Tara, Elaine, Todd, Amanda, Alan, Kristy.... :grouphug:  :grouphug:

My mood has lifted a bit from yesterday - blame it on the hormones - or lack there of - or the scale who tells me that although I thought I tried very very hard last week it refused to budge.....
Going to JC Penney today to return and pay on my bill - hopefully will find something to wear to my godson's Confirmation next week.....
Where is Spring????? It's only 29 degrees here!!!!!!

Morning all! Had a bad night last night with sleep... and I have a lot to catch up on today at home.

LOL, Suzanne, I haven't been to a movie theater like that in a long time! They are so much fun!!!

Wow Liz, that is such awesome news on everything!!!! Glad that everything is coming together so nicely for y'all :hyper:

Karen, good luck with the house cleaning. You would probably hate my house then. Though I have gotten so much better with it. I'm terrible at tossing things. As for helping to clean? Um... I think this weekend I'll pass ;)

Oh btw, no snow here... yet! Not supposed to come until a bit later today 3-5" or so

Wow, Sherry, Jordan must have passed my height a long time ago :teeth: There are some friends of ours whose sons like to tease about the heights. They say they are taller than me and then specify "with or without heels"

Pammy I was wondering the same thing about that name. Now I know the truth it doesn't sound near as fun :rotfl:

Paula, good luck finding something for the confirmation!!! E-mail on the way ;)

I have lots of cleaning to do today :wave2:

Good morning.

:woohoo: :yay: on all the good things going your way, Liz.

Good luck cleaning, Karen.

Kids taller than you ::yes:: Been that way here for a long time. I am shortest.....even M'Cori is taller (and I am no where near short ;) ).

Weather here is early spring typical :teeth: Cool, but clear and sunny (for now....won't be long before rain is back).

:wave2: Running errands today here. Costco is calling me :teeth: Looking for a new camera.

Well, I still tower over my children :)

Okay, so they are only 8 and 6

Actually, Rebecca and her mother are both on the short side but the men in her family are all over 6'

As for me, at 5'8" I'm taller than both my parents and my older brother.

I'm curious as to how our girls will turn out. :)

Morning, all.

Lazy day compared to the rest of the week. Just going to get some cleaning done.

Back to the vasular surgeon in the am. When I called and said I wanted painkillers, he made room for me. Yep, that's my reputation.

Neil's probably going to be taller than me in the next year-that's not too difficult, I'm only 5'3". Ed's 5'6", so the kids will most likely be taller than both of us.

Yay, Liz's house sold the first week!

JRKaren, your house cleaning sounds like my MIL's accumulated 50 years of stuff. They ended up throwing out good stuff without consulting Ed (like his 3k worth of train stuff) and kept stuff that he had no interest in. Good luck on that.

Paula, spring's not here-summer seems more appropriate. It was high 80's yesterday.

I'll make sure to blow really hard and get this warm weather up there. Maybe that will keep the snow monster away.

I'm going in to observe at the place I interviewed at last week. I'm really looking forward to it, but trying to figure out what to wear! Only thing I'm definite on is the mock crocs. They're ugly as sin, but my foot feels okay in them.

Suzanne

Y'all are making me smile. I had hopes of hitting 5'6" at one point in my life. After all my dad is about 6' and my mom was about 5'5". Yeah... now we have no clue what happened to me  If we have kids, they better be taller than me ;)

I'd give anything for sunshine Nancy! Better than snow ;)
Have fun at Costco... find anything good? :teeth:

Alan, I bet your girls will turn out beautiful :)

Suzanne, good luck at the doc! I hope they don't find anything too serious! Glad the moc crocs are helping you (ignore the twit Alan ;)) I like the way they look, but they are not comfy to me. I wish they made those Mickey flip flops I have still, those are the most comfy shoes in the world to me!
Have fun observing... and I am curiosu to hear what place this is you are visiting ;)

I need to clean some more in the kitchen. Catch y'all later!

Morning Ya Yas!
Time to take a breath here.
Suzanne, hope your observation is what you expect, and pain free too!
Alan, :lmao: love that imatator gator! You are always so on with your wit!
Elaine, cleaning...do you have any dusties to clean. Seems like you are spotless with all you do.
Nancy, good luck finding the camera.
Paula, glad you are in a better mood. I don't know where Spring is either. I do know it is not here for sure.
JRKaren, I really know your pain in that cleaning out stuff. Service department in the city my MIL lived in sure did not like us very much for quite some time. Nothing we could do to offer up in a garage sale even. Just stuff.
Sherry, good that the guys will be taller than you. I am sure they love that. Food bills, well :crazy2:
Liz, hope your week continues as well as the weekend.
Bethie, what's doing?
Amanda, yup, Liz would have passed the test. You would be proud of her pantry.

I was happy to talk with the calling Ya Yas this weekend and I look forward to meeting with more Ya Yas soon. I can't believe it is almost here. We saved the bail money so maybe we can use some of it on the !st.

Hey gang,

I had a big long post all written...in my head...but i'm too lazy to sit and write it. So I'll give you the synopisis...I had a great day planned for sunday...my son was a butt head and it became a rough day. Yesterday he continued putting the O in the Oppositional by getting in trouble in school and then coming home to be a royal pita! He and I went at it for 45 minutes. I was late to bowling. But I apparently looked pretty bad when I walked in because I said I was going to the bar before I did anything else. One of the girls went with me and ended up buying me a drink!! I think she was taking pity on me!! hehehehe

Then today one of my twit students looked at me and asked me why I spray painted my hair white :scared1: :lmao: So the hair has got to be "painted" this weekend!! :teeth:

And to top it all off I think there is something wrong with one of my fillings from last month...this tooth hurts all the time and I don't go back to the dentist until April 11. I hope I can last that long (have I mentioned how much I really hate the dentist??)

So I think I'm going to leave :grouphug: and  and pixiedust: till I return tonight!! Have a great day all!!

Tiara, I hope today is a better day for you!

aww shucks!! Thanks!! My day should be good as long as those darn squirrels stay out of my freshly planted bulbs and don't eat the ones they left yesterday!! Nothing like planting bulbs only to find out the next day that some one ran off with your bulbs!! :rotfl: Not only that but they ate the tops of the ones that were sticking out of the ground!! I think I'm gonna have to get Pam's dh's gun and go squirrel hunting!! Might be having stewed squirrel for dinner tonight!! :lmao:

Oh and as long as it doesn't snow and kill the rest of the flowers I planted!! hehehehe I guess my planting skills aren't the best!! :teeth:

 all!!

Lainey, I actually heard about this type of company thanks to the DIS. Let's just say I can prepare enough food to feed all the yayas at one of the sessions I'm observing ;) ! If all goes well, I'll combine a passion with something I'm really good at.

Meh, I've been the brunt of short jokes for almost half my life now, so I am used to it. Nothing I haven't heard before.

LOL, Lily, I do have some dusties to clean. I have a lot to declutter still in hte house. I am also the only one who cleans now so I have myself and Luis to pick up after. I rotate through rooms during the week. Just about the time I get to the room again, it needs the help ;) I also have a lot of stuff our previous owners left for us. Every week cleaning certain areas seems to diminish stains and caked on dust. Kind of sad actually that they never bothered to clean in some places :( I just do it this way so I don't kill myself trying to get it perfect (also I have 4 years of lack of deep deep cleaning I didn't do when I worked... not very good at working and taking care of a home  )

As for bail money, I think we can leave it with Luis. he should be able to bail us out... then again if we leave it with him, who knows when he'd come for us :rotfl:

Tara, I shouldn't laugh but the idea of planting already amuses me some ;) but mostly I can picture little squirrels running off with your stuff! I hope they behave today! Sorry that yesterday & sunday was pretty lousy too

I need to vacuum up here, but the cats are quietly sleeping.. I hate to disturb them

Is that an imitator gator? :confused3 :teeth:

Okay, smartbutt, here's a mock croc:

Beyond ugly, but they're decent for walking right now. My right foot is swallowed up by them, but the left fits it fine

Suzanne

Tara, ouch on that tooth. Sorry you have to wait til the 11-tieth to get it fixed. The olny flowers we have that so far are not ravished by the critters are the daffodils. They are beginning to come up nicely. Soon it will look like Spring!

I just heard from the vet. Both dogs are in having dentals. Kirby had one tooth removed, back molar, and vet said he won't even miss it. Missy had 5 extracted, including one canine. :crazy2: (last year she had 4 taken) Also a black mole on her lip was removed and she is stitched for that. It will be tested for melanoma. I asked that she be x-rayed for some congestion she seems to have. Seems that x-ray is ok, not certain about the congestion...may be teeth related. $$$Soooo, I have yet to $$See the bill. :faint:

Puppy pampering tonight.

I forgot to say congratulations Liz on the house offers. :bounce:

And Lily, I am sorry to hear about the puppies visiting Camp Cashalot (what we called one of our vets ;) )

BTW, aren't they all canine teeth? :confused3

(Like y'all didn't expect me to say that)
