Lainey, welcome to the world of grown up cars. You may have a difficult time finding something in the SUV/Van category with a manual transmission though. I relegated myself to looking like a soccor dad years ago, so it doesn't bother me at all

My girls are on Spring Break this week, but no travel plans for us. They were in the den watching Princess Diaries when I left for work.

Morning, all!

We leave for my podiatrist appointment in a few. Picture yourself explaining that the bottom of your foot hurts from one thing, and that you have a clot in the top of your foot. I warned him that I was a strange case!

We went over to WDW yesterday. I wanted to, but the foot was not going to cooperate. Then I got the brainstorm to borrow my SIL's manual chair. Success! We went over to MGM and had a great time. Ed and the kids finally got to enjoy Beaches and Cream. We got counter seats and it was fun to watch the takeout staff prepare all the ice cream treats.

Alan, the boys are on break this week, too. I've got today through Wednesday and Ed's got Thursday off with them. Day care is probably laughing her way to the bank that we paid for a full week and they'll only see her Friday and Saturday.

Lainey, have fun at Target. Yeah, detergent is kind of important.

Sherry, no more spewing stuff from the finger, I take it?

Liz, crossing my fingers on the people who viewed the house yesterday morning. Greg better give you a good commission on that!

No spring break here yet...darn it. Not until April 7th do we get to start on spring break. The kids' last day is the 6th. We have a teacher workday on the 7th and then we are off the whole next week.

I'll do a better ketchup later. I have to really do work today. more later!!

Nancy, I remembered you got the pearl, but that you weren't as happy with it. I hope that if it looks anything like the picture that she will love it. I am usually not good with pearls myself. I like them, but I don't wear them much

Suzanne, glad you got to enjoy WDW even in spite of the foot! Sometimes I wish that there was someone in my group in a chair or the like. It would give me a better place to put my camera

As for the car... I really don't think I'll be buying soon and I admit I am not too keen on a Mazda idea the more I think on it. Just some day 2 doors may not cut it. I am truly a Honda lover... so maybe they'll eventually make something I'll die for!

Nancy, same here... I really dont' care to post much when it is this slow

I can understand about the pearl. Not being a pearl fan, I don't really notice much with the imperfections... then again I don't look at them that close. They are nice to see on other people, and I think they can be pretty, but since I don't wear them, I don't know much about imperfections and even how to "find them" Hopefully she'll love it!

Finger is all better. Jordan also got a physical today. He is officially taller than me.

Happy Spring! Although Ohio never got the memo about spring. It is cooold and we are expecting snow showers tomorrow.

Our spring break starts next Monday. I hate that they have it so early.

Back from Narnia, wow! Great movie. We saw it at the 2.00 theatre, we didn't realize that one screen had table service and beer!! Believe it or not, Ed's beer was cheaper than the soda I shared with the boys.

Nancy, I agree about the pearls. It's so hard to find good ones. The picture looked good, though.

OK, I am so excited I can't stand it!! Things have been a bit...well busy here today. Breakfast with Lily and Ted was fun. We had a great time for sure. Had a lovely brunch yesterday at the *****ula. We then decided to enjoy the city and went for a nice long walk. We bobbed in and out of stores looking at this, that and everything! We ended up checking out Millenium park and headed back for home. Stopped and got a yummy pizza for dinner and called it a night! Fun time had by all! Grabbed some breakfast this morning and them Ted and Lily headed home...and a crazy day insued!!

I was on the phone with Cingular, making sure that my mom could not get the internet on her cell phone ( I pay for that one) and the Realtor called and asked if I was sitting down....told her I would call her back momentarily....got off the phone Cingular and called the realtor. She said we had an offer! I called Greg and let him know and while I was mid sentance the clinic called...so I told him I would call him back in a minute....talked to the clinic people nad I have a physical tomorrow and start Monday. Called Greg again the share all of the news!! Next thing you know, it was time for the 5:00 showing. After the showing we were supposed to get together with the buying agnet to go over the offer...but plans changed....the buying agent and the lady were headed back to the office to write an offer! So we got another call that we would need to review both offers. We grabbed some dinner and headed to the office. We accepted the full offer!!!! We will be closing on the 28th of April and will rent from the new owner until July 1...so then we should be homeless for only a month or two!!!

Not sure how much more excitement I can take in one day!

I know this is an EOIP post, but again I am pooped. I have been through a whirlwind of emotions and don't know if I am coming or going...but I do know that I AM buying a real lottery ticket tomorrow......all this good luck is a bit crazy!!

Mad love my yaya frineds....I will check in tomorrow!!

Hello everyone!

Sounds like lots of folks had great weekends this past weekend. Sounds like people did some fun stuff.

My weekend wasn't so much fun. I didn't see Pam's husband, and wound up spending most of the weekend cleaning out 30 years of accumulated junk from my house. Did I ever tell you that my brother is a lazy, slobby, pack rat? You should see the junk we threw out from the attic. We must have pulled 30 trash bags down, plus a few boxes, old stereos, and fans. It's insane. And we aren't even a quarter of the way done.

My sister made a comment that my brother had two things for everyone one thing I had. I said my brother had four things for ever one thing I had. My sister said she was being nice. I said so was I.

So, who wants to have a Yaya weekend cleaning my house? I'll buy the pizza and beer.
