We booked with no discounts.....question

are there any discounts I can apply? We leave in less than 2 weeks and I booked the trip about a week ago. Can I sign up for AAA today and then apply that? How much do you save? We are staying at the Poly.

I'm very new to this board so I'm sorry if this seems like a dumb question.

There was a general public code out there during the summer. You can check on Mousesavers.com to check if your dates are during the code. If so, call WDW to see if you can apply it. I'm not sure on the AAA discounts.

The code available during your stay with the best discount would be AP rates -- which of course, at least one member of your party would have to purchase an annual pass. If you would like to check some specific dates to see if they are open...post them here and I'll see if anything is still available.

AAA can be used as soon as you purchase it, but you need to have proof at check-in.HOWEVER, AAA room discounts are not infinite.Each code or promotion or even discount thru AAA has a limited number of discounted rooms available at any given time.The POly may or may not have any AAA discounted rooms left.You would need to call Disney reservations to know for sure.If you have a pkg, then it gets even more difficult because then you would need to book a pkg directly thru AAA and then cancel with disney.

I believe that if they already have a package, they may not need to rebook thru AAA, but simply call Disney and they can apply a discount to the room portion of the package - That is what they did on one of my prior trips - please correct me if this has changed!

Nope. Unless its a AAA agent you can only book a AAA room only. AAA packages MUST be booked by a AAA agent.

One thing you can do is call and find out if there are any codes attached to your name in the system. Sometimes you have a code available to you that you may have not recieved for whatever reason. The CM should be able to see.
