Doesn't he look like a crazy professor???

Our VacationBibleSchool was Power Lab. My sister had the 5th graders (which was Molly's class) and this was her set up...too cute huh?

Great picture!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Now that is the first time I have seen a likeness to Molly(she won't like that:laughing: ).

Here we are out on 4th of July

My racing guy today

IMG_2918.jpg

It was a long hot day. We went to a club cross over race at Davis (yes at would be near UC Davis)

Wilson had engine problems during the heat race, he stalled in the first lap, so he qualified 10th (just one spot above last place, which was owned by his friend Sarah, who couldn't even get off the line in the heat)

Both Wilson and Sarah raced their tails off and finished 5th and 6th. (Wilson at 5th)

He was okay with that since it was great progress to make up 5 spots in just 8 laps.

Hopefully one of these days it will be his turn at first place...until then that's why they call it racing

Nan, luv the pics :thumbsup2 How much fun you'll have looking back at these in a few years.

Pain is not fun...

But my mommy :cutie: is taking very good care of me and is going out later to get me rainbow sherbert...

I love my mommy... :lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc

 Michelle, I hope you're feeling better? You are lucky, though, to have such a loving mommy :goodvibes

Hello Marilyn, Gaylean and Michelle

How are you all?

Michelle that is good about kidney stone.

I had very sore lower back and now very sore all round tummy and lower back, I had it for a week now. Tonight is worst, Ian tell me to phone dr tom morning. Too painful dont know if i have infection?:sad2:

Maybe I am getting old :rotfl:

I wiped out my memory card and glad got it back this morning. I found it and put it in my pictures. Phew. Lots of good photos as I didn't want to lose it again.

Scottishwee35:sick:

Deborah, I'm sorry you haven't been feeling well  Glad you made a dr's appt, hope you're feeling better soon.

Whenever I told my mother I was bored, she'd tell me, "You're bored? Go bang your head in the wall, then you won't be bored."

Well, it was the early 1960's. Many of you older folks out there, just might remember the phrase, uttered by dare I say mothers all over the planet, for crying and tantrums for no good reason ... "Just stop that before I give you something to cry about."

I remember it well!!!:lmao:

I had a sister and my mum used to say to us when we were arguing - 'I'll knock one of you down with the other if you don't give up!:rotfl:

Then there was the - 'I'll bang your heads together'!:lmao:

Marilyn, my mother used to say to me and my brother, "I'm going to rip your arm off and beat you over the head with it!"

I think motherhood in those days was pretty amazing. I have heard from people that grew up in different countries, that their mothers also used the, "I'll give you something to cry about .."

Pretty amazing considering that there was no email and mass communications were not what they are today.

... Must be genetic.

Oh, one of my mother's other favorite phrases was, "You should have triplets like yourself, then you'll know what misery is."

Considering how obnoxious I could be as a kid, I'm just surprised there isn't a permanent hand imprint on my face or on my butt.

Actually, all things considered, I think my mother showed remarkable patience and self control.

Well, I was with you for "stop that or I'll give you something to cry about" but..."I'll bang your heads together"..."rip your arms off and beat you over the head" :scared1: :rotfl: :rotfl: !!! Of course, maybe if my mom had said those too she wouldn't have had to say " I hope you have 6 kids and they're all like you" :lmao: Thankfully, I only had two

I , like a lot of you, have had a frustrating time at work ever since our cruise :headache: Is it a bad thing to be looking forward to being cut up so you can have some time off work? Of course, my cut involves two stiches  but does get me about 4 weeks off! I have one more week to get through. I should be mowing my lawn and doing other chores around the house but am not motivated at all. My plan is to get up early tomorrow and get stuff done. But I sure would like to just sleep in.

I'm feeling pretty good, still a bit achy in spots. I get to DIS a little longer this morning since I have my ultra sound today before work.

I took pictures of my car last night, and got my stuff out of it. I ended up taking everything out as they had put my car in the "Land of Lost Toys" section and I didn't want to have to go back there if the insurance decides that it's 'totaled'.

I played phone tag with the insurance guy all day yesterday, but am going to try calling him now (he works 5A-2p Pacific time), so I may get through this early.

Catch up with you all later......

.

Jackie, glad you were able to get the stuff from your car, it was all there then? Glad you haven't gotten any sorer either  When will you have the results from your ultra sound?

Kathe

Shannon, what's up with work turning off the power for so long?

They have to do maintenance checks on the main transformer twice a year, so no power for most of a day while they do it. I'm the lab supervisor and my department just has to make do without power for the day, some other departments get generators so they can still have lights and their computers. - Oh well, we got to take an hour lunch instead of 1/2hour so that was nice :)

Deborah - that's too bad you have to wait so long to get in to doctor :(

Now I must get back to work! Have a great afternoon/evening everybody :goodvibes

Way too cute! Mad scientist!

Yay! I'm DISing at the library with my new PDA! Well, it's used, but new to me! I love my $50 new toy! I got a steal of a deal!

OK, headed home so Tyler can get to bed. It's already past his bedtime.

Very cute picture!

Nan - parts of our ensembles are arriving. We may end up stirring up some trouble for you with Wilson ... considering that he likes dressing up.

Kathe,

I have to agree with you. Unfortunately, more often than not, I find work extremely stressful. The cruise did give a glimmer of relief.

Yes, the cruise was a huge relief! Wish I was still there...but we do have another one(or two!) to look forward to. And I am happy that you have another special event to look forward to Ian, in the meantime  Sure wish I could be there in Sept to help you and Sukie celebrate.
