Sorry if I have missed this answer. We are going to be in the area for a week but I was only going to buy a 3 day ticket (going to the Halloween party one day and then 3 days for the other parks) as we have some other things to do in the area. Would the only way to extend the length of the ticket (5 days) be to purchase the flexible option? I really just wanted 6 days to be able to use the tickets. Thanks!

Yes you’d have to buy the flexible option in order to extend the use time.

Compare the "flexible" option cost to the cost of buying a 4-day ticket instead of 3. Yes, you'd be wasting a day but it might cost less (depending on your dates). With the recent price increase, that "flexible" option really became expensive for some dates.

Date based tickets are not valid for 14 days unless you buy the flexible ticket option. This change went into place with the date based change on October 16th, 2018.

If you go online it will tell you. It depends on your length of ticket.

Cost for the Flexible option varies based on ticket length and dates. If you are going at a more expensive time, it actually can be relatively cheap to add the Flexible option; but if you are going at a lower-priced ticket time, it can be a rather expensive add-on. Check pricing to add additional days to your ticket, even if you won't use them. I just spot-checked a date in September (low ticket price) and it would cost $162 to add Flex to a 6-day ticket compared to just an extra $48 to bump up to a 10-day ticket. Conversely, adding Flex to a December 6-day ticket only cost $37 to add Flex.

Hi everyone. Ok. I have another question. It looks like you cannot combine Canadian offer tickets with any BB. How about if you book one regular room only reservation for 1 night and then right after you book a 5 day rezzie with the BB or other discount . Can you buy a 10 day Canadian discount ticket, attach it to your one night regular priced rezzie. And have it start on the first day of your 5 day reservation that you booked at a discount?
I think I've just confused myself.

I'm also not sure of the rules of the Canadian ticket discount. But if that is the requirement, that the room needs to be full price, I wonder if you can book a one night full priced room and attach a 10 day discounted ticket to it. Is that allowed?

You can book a room discount with a CDN ticket offer. We have 2 of these booked for next month.

I initially purchased 2 rooms with the room discount bb when we were there last December. At that time I did not purchase any tickets.

I later purchased 4 day CDN tickets and attached them to our room discount BB offer and also added the DDP, no problem at all.

I’m sorry if this has already been asked but for the Military Hopper, what is the expiration date from first use? I am planning on using two days in July and three in October.
I was told by a SoG rep I would be fine, but double checking cannot hurt.

A price increase can happen at any time. AP prices went up in October 2018 and then again (without warning) just last week. If you're sure of your dates and have the money to do it, buy now.

Once I have bought date-specific tickets on MDX (and been charged for them in my bank account), they cannot change the prices, can they? I sure hope not, as they were extremely pricey as is.

As long as you use them by their expiry date then no, the price will not increase.

If you don’t use them by their expiry date then the value of what you paid can be used against new tickets but you will need to pay the difference of the tickets at that time.

Thanks. We only bought one-day tickets with a park hopper option. My DD, SIL and granddaughter will be there for a week, so we are driving down for a couple of days to share my granddaughter's first trip to see Mickey. Since my DD scheduled lunch at the castle and dinner at The Living Seas, we had to pay the extra $120 for the hopper option. I was just stressing even more expense if they increased prices before we go.
