Reservation Question - Change from 3 to 2 people ?

Hi DCL fans. I am going to be making a reservation for May of 2027. The reservation will be for 3 people. There is a possibility that it may go down to 2 people before the pay in full date. My question is will moving from 3 to 2 automatically change the two people to the current published at that time or will it be the two person price factor when it is booked originally?

Dropping one person should put the two remaining people at the “first two passengers” rate that was originally charged. When we added a person, it didn’t affect the rate the first 2 passengers paid, so it should be the same for removing a person. I have not done that, though, so I will defer to anyone with recent personal experience.

We just had to do that for an upcoming cruise as DS will not be able to join us. Prices stayed the same as initial booking , just dropped the lower priced additional fare.
