Waiting to here back from Disney on ROFR

:grouphug:
Yes, well, how fast priorities change...I have been obsessed for 4 months with trying to buy a contract and worrying about passing ROFR.
I had to take my hubby to the ER. Emergency surgery:mad: I just pray everything will be ok.

I'm praying for your family.

Good luck to you!

Thank you. Hope all is well for you and your husband.[/QUOTE]

Thanks for all the good wishes:goodvibes It's just a waiting game now..CAT scan showed another blockage/adhesion, so he may be in for another surgery:sad2:

Our offer was accepted by the sellers and send to Disney ROFR on 8/28. We heard on 9/22 that is passed the ROFR. We purchased a 150 point SSR for $70 with 300 points available. I think it was a really good deal. Now I have to get with it to use up all the points by August 2010 (or rent them maybe).

Congratulations! I sure you will find a way to use those points.

Contract number 3 bought back by Disney. :sad2:Scot called yesterday. Actually, it is a blessing in disguise...hubby has been in the hospital for 2 weeks....had 2 surgeries and we may be faced with the possibility that this illness will not allow him to return to work..at 49 he will be disabled. So, I actually have been hoping that it didn't pass. Luckily, I get really great travel agent rates so trips to WDW may still be possible, depending on his health of course. If anybody has any tips on living and traveling with TPN( Total Parenteral Nutrition), pm me.:sad1:

I am so sorry to hear about your husband. I have never heard of TPN, but hope that you will be able to find out all you need to know. What a terrible illness to suddenly strike.

We are in the same boat with an AKV offer pending ROFR, and the waiting is definitely no fun. If you have not seen them already, there is a thread with ROFR data on this forum at ...

I have not heard whether or not Disney is repurchasing more contracts than in the past, but would be interested to know if anyone else has access to this information.

just read the link above, there doesnt seem to be any pattern as to why they buy some and refuse others.

had to remove links as i am new and wouldnt let me post with them in.

I hope everything turns out well for you. I don’t know anything about TPN but where there is Google there is a way.

I think you submitted for ROFR the day before me. I haven't heard anything yet...I wonder if I'll have to wait another week? Ours were submitted to Disney on the 6th...3 weeks tomorrow.

After so many ROFR it is hard to keep track. I am on week one this time around. Every other offer was taken at exactly week 3 to the day.

I am an Infusion Pharmacist working in the long term care and rehab setting and design, prepare and monitor TPN on a regular basis. TPN needs to be refrigerated until maybe an hour or so before administration, to let it reach room temp. Though most TPN( in my experience) is run continuously over a 24 hr period, it can be "cycled" to run over 12 or even 8 hrs(while asleep) for those who are active during the day and don't want or need to be limited by a continuous infusion. Travel has never come up as an issue as my patients are mostly nursing home residents but if the storage (refrigeration) requirements can be met I don't see why travel would be a problem....I don't have enough posts so I'm not permitted to send a pm yet......

Thanks for your post. We are learning more and more each day about TPN. Hubby is on a 16 hour cycle right now. Was 24 in the hospital. We take it out of the frigde when he disconnects in the am...usually for the 8 hours he's free from the backpack..he's on 3 liters so it takes more than an hour to reach room temperature.
Found a great site called Oley Foundation with lots of info.
Hopefully, this won't be for life and he can start eating when his intestines start cooperating!!;)
People do lead very active lives with TPN and are able to travel as well. Our home care company will ship right to Disney:banana:

It is week 2. One would think I would be used to waiting as many times as I have been threw ROFR but I am on the edge of my seat beginning to bite my nail. I hope I did not make a mistake going from 160 AKV to 200 AKV on this offer.
