I recently read a thread that stated that there are not enough good reports on different off-site locations but plenty of bad reports. So here is a good one.

My husband, DS8 & DS9 returned on 2/24/06. My SIL, her husband & their 2 kids, ages 5 & 8 were also off site with us at a different unit.

The Villas of Somerset are very nice. Alot of space & very quiet. Only 10 mins ( I mean it) from WDW. 8 night stay including fees was only 720. I like this resort much more than Cypress Pointe. I thought that the entrance hallways at CP look a little shabby.

Will go there again next year without hesitation.

Where did you find the unit you rented? And can you tell us where VOS is located?

Years ago we stayed at villas of laguna bay - near villas of somerset. Wonderful value for the money. Lovely condos very near the world great if you are on a budget.

You can go to www.vrbo.com to rent directly from the owner or you can go through the management co at www.magicalmemories.com

You can save money ususally by going thru the owner. Sometimes they waive certain fees.

When you go to VRBO, click on rentals for kissimee, and click on villas of somerset in the neighborhood section. You should have no problem..
