Using points for resort and cash for cruise?

We would like to go to WDW for a week using DVC points. Then, we'd like to pay cash for a cruise (3-4 day). Finally, we'd come back to WDW for a few more days (with points).

Is there any way to do this and still get the land/sea package? Our main thing is that we want to be certain that we have transportation to/from the ship. Thanks!

We're doing the same thing next year. I was told that you just have to add the cruise transportation a la carte either by calling disney cruise line or the travel agency you booked the cruise through.

The cost of Disney transportation is $35 per person - each way. It would be added to your cruise reservation.

DCL stopped booking the "land and sea" packages. Everything is done A La Carte now. So you just book your DVC stays thru MS and book your cruise with DCL. You can add the xfers thru DCL or hire a car service to/from the port OR rent a car. Depending how many are in your party you may be ahead to just hire a car service.
