Used to Deluxe, will Mods be a big letdown?

Look, if you've done your research and know what to expect from the moderates, you'll be fine! The deluxes are certainly fabulous, but the pools at all the moderates are as good as deluxe pools, and the grounds and landscpaing are beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised bu how beautiful POFQ is.

I love balconies too. But I knew I wouldn't have one that trip and didn't think twice about it.

The thing I liked least is lack of dining options... and POFQ is worst on this count. But all that takes is careful planning.

If it is important to save the money this trip, book a moderate and don't give it another thought. You'll still be at WDW and don't need to feel like you're "settling" for something.

I will agree with the others, Moderates are great resorts and I agree that Coronado Springs is one of the best in my opinion.

Just be sure you are willing to accept the differences.

Fewer sit down restaurants
Exterior doorways
No patios or balconies
smaller beds
no valet service
smaller rooms
no closest
longer distances walking to your room from bus and main building unless you choose POFQ
Central air, this is a biggie with me, I don't like the window units. Another reason I prefer Coronado Springs over other moderates.

To me those are the major differences in moderates and deluxe resorts that would affect my enjoyment. To me the pools are just as nice at the moderates and so is transportation.
