Weather this early March for water play

We have an upcoming trip designed to spend the majority of the time in the resort. During our search last year, highest temperature around early March could be 80+ (ideally 90-ish), so we thought at least we can enjoy some water play around noon.
However, this winter appeared to be a lot colder. We are wondering it will be too cold to even touch the water then... Any thoughts, prediction from the locals?

I’m not local, but I have been to WDW in early March many times, and I can tell you that the weather is unpredictable! We are here now and the forecast is for temperatures in the higher seventies to 80 next week. So you really won’t know until you’re there whether it will be warm enough for you to play in the water or not. It depends on your tolerance for feeling chilled when you get out, because the pools themselves are heated and will be nice and warm.

Thanks! Yeah, I have seen the big swings in temperature while doing my research. The hope was to have one or two days on the higher end out of the 6-day stay. We finally managed to book the resort with lazy river. Now we are a little concerned that we will have half body soaked in warm river and half cold outside lol

We are local (14 years now) and there is no way to adequately respond to this question. At best you'll get individual experiences from people who have visited then, but just because that's what they experienced, it doesn't mean you'll experience the same thing.

Suggest you check one of the national weather resources for Orlando historic weather to get an idea of the range of conditions you might get. Then as your actual travel approaches you can check more frequently for a better indication. Even then, be prepared with extra clothes and ponchos.
