I almost recommended ice cream, but I'm pretty sure DD didn't want anything cold for a couple of days afterwards. She also ate really soft food for a few days.

Anyway, give her a big hug and spoil her. Don't know about you, but when the tooth fairy visited, she left a note that told DD she could keep the teeth (someplace safe), because they had come out too soon, but the tooth fairy left her a gift anyway. (And the going rate for teeth taken out by surgical extraction is much better than teeth lost in the normal way. )

Lol! I got her lots of her favorite soft foods, babybel cheese, pudding, soup, and some pb&js. She has been such a trooper, I think they are more resilient than we are! LOL.

Has anyone ever been to the Disney Wilderness Preserve? We are going to take the nature hike and I was wondering if we should wear tennis shoes or sandals. My first thought was tennis shoes but the information says the trail goes by the lake and may be wet at times.

Friends, I'm asking for a quick prayer if you are so inclined. I finally heard back from my cousin who lives in Little Ferry, NJ. He is a single dad of a teenage girl. They have lost there home from the severe flooding. They were rescued this morning and taken to a shelter. He grew up in Miami and says even that didn't prepare him for this storm. Thankfully, they are healthy and safe now. Thanks for reading.

She sent a similar message just before the emails went out about Round 2, so everybody should be receiving Round 3 emails shortly!

And don't forget to check in your Spam folder, since that's where many of the Round 2 emails went!

Good Morning waiting room pals!!!

I thought I'd give everyone a laugh this morning at my expense! Yesterday I made a last minute ADR for our WDW trip this weekend. I've been so preoccupied with the moms panel search I almost forgot we were getting ready to leave town! Well, last night after dinner I finally had a chance to sit down and check my email again and the first one I saw said: WALT DISNEY WORLD... I screamed out loud to my family "THIS IS IT!!!" .... they all came running just as I saw the last bit of the email ....


DINING RESERVATION. I totally punk'd myself!!!!!!!!!

You'd think after all those other Disney emails last week I'd have read the entire subject line before screaming.

Three days til WDW so I better get packing!!!! Have a good day gang!!!

This is a story about my 11 year old son Matthew.


Little turd. 7 years old.
My then DS14 says to Matthew "you have learned well, young Padawan"

He's sure going to go places!!! That is so funny!!!!

Okay, y'all, this is getting silly.

Every time I hear a notification of an email, I check Twitter and here before checking my email.

If they do what they did last year, they won't send notifications till Thursday or Friday.

Well, at least your 7yo didnt curse in this funny Disney story!

This past June when my daughter was only 6, we were in the Magic Kingdom watching the late parade. We had a perfect spot down by the Country Bears, there was one family to our left maybe 50 feet down and another family maybe 50 feet the other way. No one was there for the late parade that night - not even a single person on the other side of the "street" by the water - it was perfect! So, the parade starts and the girls are loving it. Every single character is coming over to them since there is literally no one else around us - it was like our own private parade. The two of them, 5 & 6 at the time, get all silly and embarassed when Prince Charming asks if Cinderella's glass slipper fits them and then blows them each a kiss. All girly and cute, right?

Well, once the parade is done, the folks walk by rolling up the ropes and we hear out our oldest's mouth, along with brushing her hands together for effect..."Time to get the hell out of here!" She said it so seriously and matter of factly, that it sent us into hysterics as we were trying to correct the language - especially in the MK! Out of the mouths of babes

I recently started power walking and would hope to be a part of a Disney Marathon in the future. Small steps first. I am up to 3.5 miles.

I really admire people who jog, that's really something. Right now, too much moves when I try that....soo not ready. LOL

Too much moves!!!! That's so me too!!!! I wish I likes jogging. I hate it, but I must do it or something!!! I need someone to whip me up, but Personal Trainers are so expensive.

On a sad note DD4 had to have her front tooth pulled (emergency) from damaging it in a fall and it becoming abscessed. Could really use a "good news" email!

Oh, no!! I'm so sorry for your DD. Did she fall during the storm?
When my brother was 2 he fell lost his tooth, everyone looked for it everywhere but couldn't find it because it actually went back into its socket but we didn't know. They didn't do an Xray for some reason (it was 1978) and he started getting high fevers. When he was 6 the tooth came down with the new one. That is so weird.
