Regular Keurig machines with a variety of pods. And we didn't use the fridge for much but it didn't seem overly cold to me.Current coffee makers in the rooms?
(Not villas)
And also, is the mini fridge a real refrigerator or a “cooler”?
Thanks

I’m curious about historical discounts. We got a nice 30% discount on our 4 nights in June. I know that was advertised as being for the 70th, but is there typically some kind of summer discount similar to that? I’m a teacher, so we can only go during school breaks, and I know no other time we can go will have a discount. Just curious for the future!
You can generally get a 30% discount off stays of four nights or more (or 25% off 3 nights or more) most of the year. The last two weeks of August typically aren’t discounted but are the lowest rates of the year — when I looked awhile ago, Grand Californian started at $600/nigbt all-in - no min stay required.
Thanks! I assume “most of the year” wouldn’t include school breaks like Thanksgiving, winter break, and Presidents’ Week? Maybe spring time might be luckier since there are so many breaks? (Although mine is always the week before Easter which is by far the most common in CA.) I’m back at work at the beginning of August, but I’m glad to hear June and July are possibilities!
Tangaroa Terrace is counter service. You'll also have room service. You can pick up breakfast sandwiches from Starbucks, which you'll walk past on your way to the esplanade. We have our first DLH stay coming up in June. We are booked in a standard view room. Are there any room requests I should ask for? I looked at the Disneyland site for dining options at the hotel and am still confused. Is there a place to get some scrambled eggs or a simple breakfast sandwich on the way to the parks? Ideally, something that doesn't require a table service meal.
Thanks in advance!
There's a little place called the Coffee House at DLH. They have egg sandwiches and other pastries, plus sandwiches later in the day. Coffee, too. You can mobile order or go down to the cafe. People have always raved about the Adventure tower but we were disappointed in it last month. We thought Frontier Tower was nicer. The room in Adventure needed some TLC and wasn't as big.We have our first DLH stay coming up in June. We are booked in a standard view room. Are there any room requests I should ask for? Was there still construction going when you were there?People have always raved about the Adventure tower but we were disappointed in it last month. We thought Frontier Tower was nicer. The room in Adventure needed some TLC and wasn't as big.
For breakfast, we mobile ordered Starbucks. It is an incredibly busy location so even with mobile ordering you may have to wait. We wanted to try the Coffee House but didn't make it over there. Their menu looks good.

I have found the Coffee House to be quite busy in the mornings, and even if you Mobile Order something, they may be out of it when you arrive to pick it up. This was in October, so a busy time of year overall. But if you have your heart set on something, be prepared to walk up and order it to make sure they have it, or do a Mobile order but have a back up item (or two) in mind. This was frustrating because I went down to get the Mobile Order for our family while they stayed in the room getting ready for the day, and when things were out of stock for others in my family, I had to try to call them and change to something else on the spot.People have always raved about the Adventure tower but we were disappointed in it last month. You could rent DVC points and stay in a 2 bedroom villa. It has 2 bathrooms.Hi all... contemplating a 'several adult' stay at DLH and they have various suites available, but none of them say how many BATHROOMS each type has, and they say things like "it could be this configuration of beds OR this configuration of beds OR this configuration of beds" which doesn't help because there is a big difference between "1 King and a sleeper sofa" and "2 queens and a sleeper sofa if every adult wants her own bed.
I am looking at the following room types:
1 Bedroom Family Suite
2 Bedroom Junior Connecting Suite
2 Bedroom Family Connecting Suite
Does anyone which of these has 2 bathrooms?
