Best of luck to those moving on. I was sad to get that e-mail. I think my video is what needed improvement. There's always next year, I suppose. I am trying my hardest to get us to Disney near Christmas. I have never been that time of year. Even for just a couple days ... I'd take it. I have something new to try for and look forward to. I hope it's okay to post this. My little guy is now in the running for Batman Live tickets, wearing a Batman outfit I made him. He was very particular about how he wanted that outfit made, too! The photo with the most LIKES wins. I can use all the help I can get, if any of you want to click the link and vote for my Jack? He would be over the moon to win those tickets and, it's always nice to have something fun to look forward to Tam

Ladies and gents.....what makes you qualified to be part of the MP?

I chose to do DCL because I felt there would be less applicants and I spend all my free time on the disbpards there. However I have been to WDW no less than 50 times in the last 2 years alone with stays and dining at most the resorts. I know I "know" my WDW stuff and maybe I would have gone to round 3??

So why you next year?? Tell away!!

Not exactly sure what you're asking
But traveling to WDW and staying in all the resorts does not necessarily qualify you to be chosen for the MP. That holds true for everyone who applies. We all have a vast amount of knowledge. What they look for, since they already know you have that, is true passion for all things Disney, creativity in the advice you would give, a desire to share what you know and help others plan their vacations, and experience with helping others plan. Regularly. You need to have great writing skills, imagination, creativity, and passion. You also need to present well on camera. They are also looking for genuine, down to earth people who will portray the image that is what they expect for representatives of Disney. They hold everyone to a high standard.

Hi Tam! I agree, I know I nailed my essays, I definitely feel it was my video that got me knocked out.

I dressed as Rapunzel and had a guinea dressed as Pascal in my video. I wanted them to remember me" LOL! The night I sent it off, I thought of the video I SHOULD have made! Wanted to kick myself. I had the perfect memory I could have shared. It was my first Disney memory ... also my worst Disney memory ... but also my best. Next year!

Sorry that I have not checked in for the last couple of days!! I have been swamped with Halloween and work. Luckily the depression of not making it did not last as long this year

We bit the bullet and booked a last minute trip to WDW for the holidays. We are arriving Dec 25 and coming home Jan 6. We lucked out and got DVC for most of it. Dec 25-31 at OKW and Jan 4-6 at SSR. The nights in between will be at the Best Western Lake Buena Vista.

I am super excited, however I think my mom is going to kill me
