Evening!!! I guess you could say the weather was nice here. In the 70's, sunny with a nice breeze. But I want in hotter. Sheesh, it's July, shouldn't it be in the 90's by now?
Pikester, I honestly am not surprised by that news report you posted. Racism is very much alive in some parts of this state. Hell, I think it was earlier this year that some family made the news because Wal-mart would not write Happy Birthday Adolph Hitler on a birthday cake for them. Adolph Hitler being the name they gave their child.
But the story you posted makes me sick. Ironic how this past week, everyone's been talking about how MJ crossed so many racial barriers and here are some people (and I use that term loosely) pulling their kids out of pool because of someone's skin color.
Sukie, you'll have to fill me on your cruise when you get back. We, ok me, are in the process of trying to decide what to do for vacation in 2011. A cruise is at the top of the list right now. We've never been on one and they look like so much fun.
Magikitty, you get the award for greatest Aunt in the world. And that one kids sounds like a flake. What if they all move in together and the flake decides to take off again for a week, month or even longer? Who's going to pay his part of the bills?
Wendy, yes, do fill us in on your netbook? I need to get more computers into this house to stop all the arguing about who's turn it is to use the computer.
marie, those moments when they get it are great. It's almost like a little switch turns on the their heads. And the mouthiness does get worse. And if they aren't running their mouths, it's that silent attitude that you just want to slap out of them.
D&D, I can't believe how soon the meet is. I never thought the time would get here and we go next week already.
DL55, I'm coming out to visit you and that wonderful 100* weather.

Unfortunately, racism is still around and practiced by some members of all races. Really sad.
Otherwise I'll have to bring the sun and dry weather with me. (It is raining today, but very light) Someone else will have to bring the warm temps. DL55 are you sure you can't come camping with us???

) DS and I clapped and laughed and BL just grinned ear to ear. Unfortunately, DH had gotten stuck late at work and missed it, but BL was kind enough to do an encore when he got home and did 2 more tiny steps right to Daddy.
) where my laundry room is located to get some clothes out of the dryer and noticed that the toothbrush was missing. Now, I do happen to have two but of course it would be the one that is my favorite that would be missing. Knowing that my DH had done this to me before (he uses them to brush the greasy nasty gunk off of his bicycle parts), I hunted him day and asked "Did you take my toothbrush?". His answer was "Yes. Did I mess up?" DUH!! Maybe if he would have asked I would have said "Go ahead and take the green one as I don't really use that one." But NO! He couldn't ask! I got a little huffy even though it was stupid and walked off. DH left, not telling me why, and bought me two new toothbrushes and left them down where I treat the laundry. What a goober!
