Third Gate or Hotel at Wet & Wild's old location?

Please GOD be a third gate? Can you imagine Universal stepping up their game that much that they open a third gate for their parks?

Although I have my expectations that it will probably be some kind of grand hotel villas that will be ever expansive trying to maybe imitate the Disney Bubble?

If Universal has a third park that would be without a doubt a game changer in Florida for sure.

I don't think Uni is ready for a third gate yet. They are definitely doing well expanding and drawing in business, but they haven't reached a saturation point with crowds yet. They also have a few areas in their existing parks that need to be redone or expanded (the new Skull Island is taking up some dead space at IoA and looks cool so far). I think they will get there eventually though.

It's been rumoured but there are so many other things that they need to finish up first.

Also, I don't think the WnW plot is big enough for a third gate. It's only 50 acres with a road running through the middle of it. I know a lot of people are suggesting more "onsite" hotels. Universal has stated they may eventually want 10,000 rooms. Right now, they have
Cabana Bay - 1,800 rooms;
Royal Pacific - 1,000 rooms
Portofino Bay - 750 rooms
Hard Rock - 650 Rooms

Sapphire Falls - 1,000 rooms

So, when Sapphire Falls opens, they will be up to about 5,200 rooms. They would only be about 1/2 way to the total of 10,000. The big question would be how an "onsite" hotel that appears that far away would sell. Looking at the map, it would be about the same distance bus ride as Cabana Bay to the hub but over a much busier road. Also, a walking path wouldn't be an option since you're crossing I-4.
