Lol. Sorry but in the winter, you best believe you need a gym. Its -25c outside, with snow, and you think Im going for a run outside? Not gonna happen. Ever. Sure you can do exercise videos at home i guess, and push ups and crunches at home....but after a while that gets kinda boring. You need to change it up. Variety does help with motivation.

Not commenting on the rest of your post just the bolded by me part. You don't have to go to a gym to workout. I run, it's a completely free activity(besides the purchase of shoes) and I can do it right outside my house, at a park etc....... Or you can take a long walk, then alternate walking/running. You can also do crunches, push ups against a kitchen counter, lots of exercises right in your own home with no equipment to purchase. Anything is better then nothing and it doesn't have to cost a dime.

I don't disagree entirely, but I do think when you go rough something like a medical condition as a couple and partnership it changes the way you look at it.

I'm not a huge fan of excuses to keep yourself from working out though. You dont need a gym. you dont need equipment. You find the time if you really want to do it. There's always 30 min in there somewhere, it's just not easy. And if you're eating well you aren't going to be unfit. Being in shape is a ton about what you eat.

Things happen. It's all situational.

Some of you ladies are making fun of me for the I get offers statement, but you all got offers to get married so why is it such a leap that I get them :goodvibes

I guess ur counting the married girlfriend stalker you can't seem to get rid of.

I don't run. Ever. I will die in the zombie apocalypse lmao. I work out 20 min a day, in my house doing HIIT. It's entirely possible.

I guess we have different workout ideas. I personally wouldnt benefit from 20 min, just with the body type I have. I do about an hour. I just feel that i need more. But yes, youre right, it is possible at home. I guess im just looking at it from my point of view. I cant stay motivated at home. I need the gym. Lol.

I could say a lot of things, but I'll just say, I've only discussed marriage with two men (one being my husband and the other a serious, previous relationship). I'm sure there have been other times when it was casually or jokingly said by others, but I wouldn't call them "offers" (which sounds kind of skeevy to me). Then again, I probably wasn't thin enough or maybe my heels weren't high enough.

It just makes me wonder what all those women feel you have to offer to a serious, lifetime relationship.

It's high intensity interval training. If you do more than 20 minutes you'll probably die lmao. It's actually really fun though and since I hate working out and don't have much time it's perfect. You should check it out. See if you like it.

:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: OMG i just about died laughing at this.

Well now you have my attention! I just might check that out. Sounds like something I would like. Thanks! :flower3:

Still disagree with you, I don't believe one needs a gym membership to work out. I haven't had one in the past years and I have lived in cold places during that time. Does having a gym make it easier? Sure. But where there's a will there's a way.

Yeah, being a Yankee fan is a dealbreaker!

I hate people that just can't be quiet, this includes people that like to whistle, hum, or tap for no reason. Unfortunately I married a drummer, so he's like a human metronome most of the time.

I am with you, I cannot stand when people tap or hum. It drives me insane :crazy2:

As for miracle whip ..... love it! You will not get me to touch anything else!

Oh, and snoring drives me nuts! This guy I am seeing now snores like a freight train...... drives me insane!! So glad we have our own houses lol!

Ok its just me then. :lmao: I need the gym. But my point was, sure we can all find ways to stay in shape at home. It is possible. There are options for a home workout. But there are ppl like me who find that it just isnt enough to stay motivated. I am a prime example. I need a gym.

Exactly, I've actually jogged in the yard and lifted weights in the yard. Its no fun whatsoever, but it does the job.

You can do it!!!! :). I read your posts and I understand about getting bored easy, I have the attention span of a gnat. I do enjoy running.... Now. Hated it at first. But it really is the only cardio I can stand to do on a daily basis cause I can switch up my routes, places I go etc. now running on a treadmill, forget it. So boring. Lol.

Lots of people like that! Not just you!

I have the attention span of a goldfish. LOL! I actually do love jogging outside. In the summer i'd do it when i cant hit the gym. I like that variety, gym AND jogging outdoors. Best of both worlds! And i so need that variety. Very important for me. I admire ppl who are content with working out at home.

Liberty Belle I'm sure your awesome personality makes up for any physical flaws you may have. :goodvibes

Well I can offer a serious lifetime relationship to someone that I would want to make that commitment to. But haven't found her yet. This is why some bolt when I tell them "no not at this time" which is really in reference to them. Yes I'm honest. And I did not mean to make it sound like I have women constantly beating down my door and/or I get offers daily. This is not what I meant. But I get my share.
