Is 1 bedroom at Aulani worth it?

Going to Aulani for 11 nights in June. Family will be joining us for 4 nights. I booked 2 seperate island garden studios, but I find myself looking at one bedrooms all the time. There will be 5 of us so it would work for us all.

Not that anything will open up for that long at this point, but for such a long stay im thinking a kitchen and laundry may be worth the extra points especially since Hawaii is so water based and a washer/dryer sounds great. Plus it would be nice to show off a little to family what do you guus think, worth the extra splurge?

I would totally do 1 BR! You get a kitchen! Food is expensive in Hawaii. And laundry. For 11 days, you're going to want that laundry right in the villa. While I haven't been to Aulani, I've stayed in studios and 2 bedrooms and will pick the larger option every time if I can.
