I can't believe how much they want for green explorer suit. If they want that much, I am scared to see what they want for HM suit and blue princess.

I sold, traded or gave away all but one of my green explorer suit when I relized they were in regular stock. Now they have been removed from there and is twice as much. I don't think I will waste my credits buying them. I think the princess outfits, HM suits and cowboy stuff will be more wanted later on anyways.

What is up with the prices? Wasn't the green exporer stuff just 250 credits each last time?? I feel really bad for new players especially kids who can't get all this stuff. What is the point of making them so high anyway? And I agree I'm scared of what the prices will be tomorrow on the blue dress and HM suit.

So tomorrow the blue princess dress will be out? Guess i need to get busy and earn more credits. Does anyone know if and when they will rerelease the purple princess hat with ears? Was that supposed to be released with a purple princess dress? Will there be any other costumes released before Halloween other than the blue princess dress and hm suit? (sorry for so many questions)

BUT...
imagine all those kids who bought herbie, got the code, decided to check out vmk and see what it is, come in, see all the new costumes, and have no IDEA how to get credits because they are new.

ok i will say this once, and hopefully not get slammed (too hard). If there is something you want, and there is NO WAY you are going to be able to get it, make a mule, buy the stuff, and if you are unable to trade it to yourself, get someone you trust from the dis to work as a go-between for you. (ie you trade it to them, they trade it back to your main character)

What is up with that?

I have several Mules as all of you know and even started the Mule BAll so our Mulls could party.

My Mules get played on a regular basis they interact with people in VMK just like my main character and I like having more than one ID just call me EVE!

I admit also to having lost a few along the way....but I am sorry VMK credits do not rack up fast enough to justify the cost of these Costumes and what about furnishing our rooms!

If VMK does not want us to make mules to help our Main Character then LOWER the DARN prices!

...without Nedding or Mules it would take a player 10 days collecting credits to be able to afford just one plain green explorer top and nothing else! That is just crazy.

So I quess fire away at me also! Because I say

If there is anyone who needs a go-between for mule trades on the blue dress, I am volunteering to be that go-between on Friday. I will try to be sitting at the Castle Forecourt for most of the day, in no particular instance. If you see me there, just tell me you are Dis. Also, if you could have Dis in your signature, that would be great! In the trade window, please tell me who your main character is so I will know who gets what. I won't accept any "gifts" of payment, so please don't offer (Unless you REALLY want to give me a Leota pin, Lion pin or candy cauldron ) He he, just kidding. I have done this in the past for friends. Maybe we can get a few more Dis members to help out and be available in each instance?

Hi! Green Mimi!! That go-between role is my part-time job on VMK. I do that for many of my little and big friends on VMK. lol.

I cannot believe that they charge the prices that they do for the clothes. How many hours of the day can you constantly be playing to get that many credits? Power to the Mules!!! I can proudly say that many children have benefited from my mules - I love that I can make a child happy with a pretty dress, skeleton chair, crowns, you name it. Like Mike and Mal - I love the mules - they are my friends.

I have nothing against mules and I even have a couple of them out back in my stable.

But even for those who don't understand mules or who are just philosophically opposed, there is no reason to say that purchasing an item you want is beyond hope.

There are plenty of ways to earn credit in VMK. The most obvious one and the one we all joke about here is the Jungle Cruise. Get on the boat, crash it as fast you can, get your 20 credits and get back on the boat.

Say, for instance, you have your heart set on the blue princess dress. We'll use Mal's proposed prices as a guideline and assume she is correct that Blue Ears come out with it (Or, if not, maybe you need a crown). The total outfit would come to 5,000 credit. That's 250 trips down the Jungle Cruise river. Boring? Heck yeah. But easily doable, if you really want that outfit.

(And I speak from experience. I was brand new on VMK the weekend the original space suit came out. I played that game 100 times - took a little less than 2 hours - to earn the 2,000 credits for the suit.)

i honestly think that they consider the last time a special outfit was out, figure at least 150-200 credits per day, or more (based on npc's and playing each of the games) and go from there.

If its been 2-3 weeks since the last costume was out, sure, they charge 2-3,000 and figure we all should have it.

But this week has been just plain nuts, it blows any kind of reasoning right out of the water lol.

Maybe, but most characters and mules don't have that much credit. In that survey last week, a lot of people said their mules had 2,000-3,000 in credit each. It's just that if you have 20 mules, that's a lot of money at your disposal. I also think that there are more kids playing than adults, and a lot of them are just earning money by playing the games, not mules or nedding. It seems like it would be very difficult for someone to buy very much without the helpful hints from this board and others like it.

i agree.... with everyone...

at first i was only going to have a couple of mules. but now i have gone mule crazy! (last week anyhow i did). and have tryed to do everything i can so i can have a few spare costumes. i log on with them everyday and then get my 200 credits (i get one early and then at night) and then i play each game once, and i have been doing airlock (while nedding) since we can't trade the suits anymore, and stacking up those codes to use when it looks like i will run out! AND i have been doing the conqure the sea game thing too! so i have been pulling every stop to get ready for this event, and it is difficult. they just keep rasing those prices! i don't think i have 20 mules... but i am getting there! and it does make me feel sorry for the kids who don't know these things. however, when they ask me to give them my crown for free.... i feel less sorry (ha!)

i have lots of credits on my main mule, but i have decided that from now on i should always get at least 1 extra for trading. for things i will want!

and because i thought this was funny: one of my new mules names just got approved: halloweenspackle!

you will not get flamed from me but only one of my Characters BlueFairytoo had over 4000 credits my Main Character only has about 900 now. The only reason BF2 has so many is she NEEDS the Blue Princess Outfit afterall she is the BlueFairy! And I wanted to make sure she had enough credits to get it.


I know Yavn says that VMK was not designed for Dial up connections but the truth is there are alot of us with Dial up that play and can not rack up credits playing fireworks and pirates those games just demand a high speed connection.

Heck even some of the players with high speed can not play those games for tech reasons.

I also know Yavn does not like Mules but too bad then lower the darn prices so everyone can at least have some chance of getting items and costumes.

The whole idea of VMK is to get people interested in traveling to the PArks and more kids would get interested if they could get cooler stuff in the game and not have to spend every last credit they had doing so. I am not saying sell the stuff for peanuts but make them a reasonable price!
