There are no sharks at WDW, so let's go!!!

400 pictures, thats nothing, we came back with nearly 2000 last time . Did you make proper scrapbooks or just put your photo's in a scrapbook. I am looking for some new ways to do things so am interested what others do :)

Is Chicago really hot in the Summer and is there a lot to do there? I hope your planning on getting some pictures for us to look at :thumbsup2

Yes, I do proper scrapbooks. I'll have to take some pictures of some of my pages and post them for you. It takes me a LONG time, but I love the outcome.
Chicago does get warm in the summer. It's not as hot as Florida, but there is humidity. It's right on the lake, so you might get some lake effect breezes. I'm not that familiar with the goings on in Chicago, but I know there are museums, parks, shopping, baseball games and great food.
I will try to remember to take a picture of the skyline for you and of course pics of the weekend. I just hope I can remember to take my dang camera!!

OH MY GOSH!! Chick!! I am so sorry about your day yesterday!! I hope today was a better one!!!!

I remember when I had some dental work done one time! They had to give me 4 shots and I went to my softball game to watch since I couldn't play. Well, I was thirsty and was drinking a Mt. Dew. I had to pull my bottom lip out to get some drink in my mouth and I felt like my shirt was wet. I looked down and I was drenched!!!!! My mouth was so numb that it was just pouring out of my mouth down my shirt!!! I was so embarrassed!!!:rotfl2:

Today was a better day. I could actually eat a smoothie and not have any pain! :woohoo:

You are frickin hilarious!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: That whole drool thing with the Mt Dew!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: That's how I felt when they told me to rinse and spit. Ummm hello!! You could hang laundry on the line of spit hanging from my mouth to the sink!!! My only solace was that I was by myself. You on the other hand were out in public and not many people probably knew that you'd had your whole face numbed earlier. Sorry sister!

Okay guys. So, I thought I'd post some pictures because my TR is looking a little drab.;)
So, for those of you in the South, I thought I send you a little bit of winter!! This is what 8 inches of snow looks like.
100_1999.jpg

We had a total of 11.9 inches last weekend and another 3-4 added during the week. Oh, and it's getting below zero at night.
I told Ariel that I would post some of my scrapbooking pages from my 2006 trip. I have just started my 2007 album. I hope I don't bore you. My albums for my 2006 trip took FOREVER for me to do.

I'm sad that I will miss the Flower and Garden Festival this year. It's so pretty. I suppose that I will see the after effects. :)

I have discovered that it's very difficult to come up with different layouts for 400+ pictures. I can't imagine doing Ariel's album of 1000 pictures!!

Awww, lucky!!! I want some snow soooooo bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't mind the snow. I just don't like it when it gets sloppy and brown. I could do without the below zero temps though. I love it when the trees are covered with snow too. Poor little forest animals though. They must be FREEZING!!!

HI!!!!!
Are you staying warm?
It was -9 here yesterday...

I love your scrapbook pictures:thumbsup2 I'm still working on my 2006 trip it's over 50 pages, hopefully I'll get it done by our Sept trip.

how are you feeling after the the root canal? I don't do well at the denist, they really scare me.

It's looks like we might have to cut our trip by one day, and leave on Sat instead of Friday. son in law is having a hard time getting the extra day.
the cost of airfare is still got me worried.

That much snow would keep us out of school for several days!!!

I always love to see everyone's scrapbooks. Jill has tried to keep up making one for each of our trips, but she's about three behind right now. They are such great reminders of so much fun!

Those scrapbook pages are gorgeous! I used to love scrapbooking when I was younger, and I still do, but I've yet to actually finish one. I'm always so excited to start and then it sits there unfinished for months

I love your scrapbook pages!! My poor scarpbooks are feeling neglected... i keep promising them a date...but I keep cancelling on them:rotfl2:

I'm staying as warm as I can! Thankfully today wasn't as cold as it has been.
My tooth feels pretty good. I still don't chew much on that side, but it's much better than downing Vicodin every 3 hours.
Sorry you had to cut your trip by one day, but if he has to work, he has to work. I too am hoping for cheap airfare. Too bad you aren't close to Detroit. They get pretty good fares.

That much snow happened on a weekend, so of course the kids were disappointed. :rotfl: Sorry kids. If it would've happened on a weekday, school would've been out. We lived in Minnesota for 5 years and DH grew up in Wisconsin. That much snow is no big deal there!!
Thank you for the compliment on the pages. I can feel for Jill and being behind. She's gonna be even more behind once the baby gets here.

THANK YOU!!! You are too nice! I feel the same way. When I made those books, my BFF owned a scrapbooking store. So, I would hang out there everyday and just work on my books. Now, not so much.

Thanks Paula!!! My scrapbooks need a date too! I had a date with them last Thurs, so they're probably feeling like we had a one night stand! :rotfl2:

Hey just stopping to say "hey!". Sounds like I've missed out on a lot so I really need to get caught up. Once this family goes back to MI I'm so setting aside some DIS time. Life's just gotten too crazy and I don't like it anymore!:scared:

Talk to you soon!

You're not missing much. I had a good savings going this month, and then we had to put in a new door to the garage because the old one came off the hinges. :crazy2: I HOPE to get airline tickets at the beginning of Feb. Let's hope for cheap airfare!!!

Love the scrapbook pages! We actually got a dusting of snow yesterday. Of course, we all freaked nad hid in our houses!:rotfl2:

I love your scrapbook, its great. I love the idea of scrapbooking but I go a bit overboard and it takes me so long I only ever get half way through. I love the Minnie's Butterfly House sign, so cute.

I think I'm going to "try" and talk DH into driving this year. I can't find any good airfare, and with gas being affordable, FINALLY, we could travel for $137! Granted we would add miles to the car and time in the car, but I think it would be cheapest for us. Might even suggest camping on the way down to cut costs. Believe it or not it's cheaper to fly out of Dayton than Detroit. We would save over 200 bucks! We'll see???? :confused3 :confused3

Is/Was somebody sick over here? I read it on another report and thought I'd come over to check on you. I hope things are better tonight for you guys!

How long would the drive be for you guys then? I always find camping fun but not sure if I could do it in the American heat at that time of year. Oh and the bugs :scared:

Thanks for checking on me MeMom! You are SO thoughtful. Yes, my youngest DD has a ruptured eardrum and got very little sleep last night. Thankfully we have medical insurance because her ear drops would've been $140 instead of $20!! Crazy! She's asleep right now, so hopefully the Lord will bless her with a good nights sleep.

I think the drive would be around 17 or 18 hours. My folks live 13 hours away, so what's another 3-4 hours, right? Yeah, I'm not camping. It was a nice thought, but there's bugs and dirt. So, that leaves that out!!
