Street rat crazy? How does that differ from country road mouse crazy? Inquiring minds want to know.
Time to refill that Prozac prescription and gleefully let mashed potatoes fall to the floor as your family watches on in horror..
I mean..
I hope it gets better soon.
Think cold thoughts.. snow, freezing rain, frozen foods department at
Walmart, digging to the bottom of the chest freezer for the elusive last bag of frozen peas, cold shower when the hot water heater goes out, unheated pool, forgetting to turn on the heater on your dialysate and feeling the cold liquid run along the blood in your veins.. think
COLD
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I have a Prozac prescription, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Previously we had Kaiser Permanente and their 10mg Fluoxetine capsules were white and green. The new prescription I have I filled at Fred Meyer and they are yellow and green. Both were generic versions of Prozac, but I'm wondering if perhaps one generic worked better for me then the other??

Or maybe it's just not working anymore?? I'm thinking of calling Kaiser pharmacy and asking what generic brand they use, then call around and see if I can find it anyplace else. I didn't use any Prozac for about 9 months, but I started back up about a month ago and it honestly doesn't seem to matter.
I do know that I'm having an awful time with sugar causing hot flashes. I can't eat anything with sugar in it during the afternoon or evening. Even the artificial sweeteners are causing hot flashes. Anything I seem to eat, say a piece of bread that has sugar or corn syrup in it will cause horrific hot flashes within about 2 minutes of eating. So basically I'm eating dinner and then drinking water all evening. This morning I just ate an English Muffin w/butter and a banana, now I'm sweating like a pig!
The cold really doesn't help, because they are flashes. DH turned the AC to really cold last night, I was freezing along with everybody else! Punctuated by periodic horrific hot flashes every 20 minutes or so. It's hard to explain, but cold doesn't help, except for the exact moment that you are having a hot flash. Having the house cold doesn't make a difference, it's really just the internal thermometer in your body that is messed up. The doc's think it's caused by the estrogen levels that regulate the seratonin in your brain. Your brain sends a signal that your body is overheating, so it tries to send heat away from your internal organs.
Bernice, this will explain Street Rat Crazy!

I've had a lot of chatty time lately, not complaining.. it was fun.
Pix with updates on the home front, chat on Facebook with a childhood friend, more chat with a high school friend and then he called me at home...... nice guy, he was "just a friend" in high school-- made one attempt at looking for "something more" a few yrs after graduation.. but he was cool about it when I didn't make a co-move in response.
Refreshingly honest, he tells me his kids are brats.

And we both scratched our heads or dropped jaw in awe about other classmates and where life has led them to become.
Funny, the people who didn't go to the reunion are the ones that I am enjoying the most to be in contact with again. Just have two more people that I am wondering "where are they now?" to find... and the reunion staff couldn't find them either. Bummer
Awesome! I'm friends with several of my ex-boyfriends from high school. Kinda weird at first, none have tried hitting on me. But then again, I try to steer our discussions towards my family, how I've been married to DH for 20 years, talk about their family, etc...
What a GREAT day!! We had the WORST night ever last night. Jasmine SCREAMED her head off all night. I wanted to chuck her but out the window. But I didnt. I just held her and tried my best to calm her. She finally slept for about two hours this morning around three or so. Then when DH got home I passed her off to him.. Let him deal with the screaming.

I managed to squeeze out a couple of hours of sleep..
Anyhoo.. I got up, took a shower and then we got the kids ready.. I went to pay the cable bill.. The plan WAS to go to the SS office for cards for the bigger kids.. But I didnt think I had enough time before Alex got home from school. I was also supposed to get the babies birth certificates.. But I didnt. I went to the grocery store instead. Kaylee got to play in the nursery. She loved it.
Alex got home and said.. Its open house today!

GAH!! i forgot! So I had to get them all ready for that. It also meant I didnt have to make dinner!

So We went, and it was great. We had dinner.. met the teacher.. who is RIDICULOUSLY sweet. I LOVE her! She commented on how patient and nurturing Alex is. I said YEP! He gets tons of practice with that at home!

I also volunteered to be room mom. Cant wait!
Then it was time for bed. Kaylee and Alex fell alseep in record time. The babies did too.. but they both did the 30 minute wake up.. but they are both sleeping soundly now. I hope they stay that way!
Tomorrow is ball shaving day. He goes in on Thursday.

No more babies for Megan.

OMG!! I had to really stop and think for a minute. My mind was in the School/Open House mode and I'm thinking, their school is shaving balls?? Like playground balls? And how do you shave a ball?

Then it finally dawned on me what you were talking about.

Stock up on frozen peas, they are the best! Put then in sandwich baggies and make about 3 of them, so you have one ready to go at all times.

Don't feel bad, you have 4 wonderful babies (and they will always be your babies, no matter how old they are). If you truly find you want more, then you can always adopt more. But I have a feeling you will find it very convenient, not to mention that you will start looking forward to watching your completed family grow.
Oh and let's not forget the fun part. About a month or so from now when you have to take a "sample" in to the doctor's office for testing.

I dropped DH's off at the doctor's on my way to work...all I kept thinking is please don't let me get in a wreck and they find this specimen bottle in my coat pocket.
